I have had my new computer for about 5 or 6 months now with no problems, no pop ups, nothing. Someone sent me the link to this site. I went to DL something from it and I ended up with 14 viurses and tons of spyware. I just ended up running the recovery disks to my comp to restore it. Very bad site!!!!
If you go here just dont DL anything from it. :scared: You wont know at first that you are infected.
Terrible virus site ~~> www.andr.net

Pretty much all sites that have "warez" anywhere in the text are bad news.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune, though.

I was lucky that nothing got ruined. Its just an inconvenience to reinstall all my programs on my comp. Thank god for the recovery disks. Once your infected there isnt a spyware or adaware program that can save you. So you just have to run the recovery disks. 👍
If you are getting any pop ups on your comp when you first start it then more than like you have spyware and dont even know it.

:ouch:
I'm not even goiong to click on that site because it'll probably try and dump adware or spyware on you.

I love 'ad-aware' and 'spybot search and destroy'! :D

Those didnt even wipe all the spyware out. THats how bad it was. I ran every adaware and spyware program I could from and it stil didnt work. I even got the stuff we use here at work and it couldnt remove it. I would have had to go into the registry to get rid of it. :ouch:
If you click on your internet to open it and you get pop ups then you are infected. :scared:

all my problems went away when i stopped using warez sites and switched to using hash based networks with verified files....

but yea, warez anything is bad, mmkay?

This is the perfect example of why I never DL anything from the internet. My friend sent me a link to this site and said to DL a "crack" code for something. I should have never listened to him. Oh well. This was my second attempt at DL something from the internet for free and see what happens. First it was limewire a year ago. Now something on that site above. DONT DO IT!!!!! :dunce:

I just got Ad-aware SE Personal and ran it for the first time a few hours ago. It deleted 57 items.

Have any of you had problems with Spybot not catching anything? Spybot no longer catches anything for me when it used to catch 10 or 14 items a week. Odd.

Yup like I just listed above. It didnt catch all my stuff either. 👎

Ummm, even though you flagged it as a "terrible virus site", it's still a bad idea to create a direct link. I removed the automatic parse option so people could see the URL without it actually linking to it.

t/y thats a good idea. I made sure to say not to DL anything but I shouldnt have linked the thread.
Here is a pic for me

Warez is bad. Period. All my problems went away when I stopped dealing in illegal software.
Yup. "Free" and "illegal" dont have to be contradictory in the software world. :)
