Virus Uploading?

I was literally just in lobby on Special Stage, when all of a sudden the chat was wiped and replaced with the words 'VIRUS UPLOADING' and the loading bar appeared on the track picture in the middle and the names on the side. The words were then replaced with Progress 0%, 1% and i put a message saying What is going on and the host said 'You have to leave' so i did. Has anyone seen this before or know if it is just some joke or a real threat?

LOL this is an old trick. All you do is hit the LINE BREAK button a ton of times and then type something, in your case, VIRUS UPLOADING. The line break is like enter on a keyboard, so it appears to clear the chat bar. It's just a text joke, nothing serious.
 
It's a Joke. You mess with your opening motto to do it.
 
^^^No you don't even touch that. Read my post. I've done a lot of line break jokes.
 
I didnt really trust it, but the host said to leave so i thought better be safe than sorry. Its pretty funny though. I might try it :)
