voice chat not working in lounge area

I use a Sony headset. Recently the voice chat is not working when setting up a race in the lounge. It works fine in the online area and used to work in the lounge area. Neither I nor friends are even getting the voice icon displaying while talking. It also does not matter who is setting up the race in the lounge, same result. Any suggestions?

I'm sure that you checked your My Lounge settings and ensured that voice chat is not set to disabled, since you say it is also happening when others start a lounge. So, I'm thinking this is a strange issue that I have yet to read about on here. You could also try clearing the network cache in the settings.
