Kick-ass movie.
It is Japanese but dubbed in with some rappers voice. Although the voice was well done, it wouldnt have been done a complete "rapping" translation without the annoying music.

It was aired on Sunday by MTV.

Really good movie.

Special effects that flat out beat the Matrix ones.
 
Actually, the movie is Korean.

Yeah, it's a good movie. Good characters and a good story everyone can relate to. The dubbing was rather good, even though the voice actors were music artists like Mya, Big Boi, Funk Master Flex, Method Man, Snoop Dogg, and Andre 3000. I thought they stole way too much from The Matrix. Bullet Time, defying gravity, and wave distortion effects. The rap music by the Ying Yang Twins, Youngbloodz, etc., really didn't match the scenes at all. Although, consider the original Korean version filled with Korean Pop music, I rather have the rap.

it wasnt filled with "korean pop", its soundtrack was composed by Dayta, ex-guitarrist of Siam Shade, one of the best Jrock bands ever. I know it, a friend of mine is a real Siam shade fan. I even have the soundtrack somewhere, wich I must say is really cool. I want to see the movie tough, I havent had the chance. and I totally agree with nightkid, if I ever watch it, I will watch the undubbed, subbed one, thank you. :D

I was going to watch it, but went to my friends LAN and ended up seeing battle royale subbed. Battle Royale was probably better, but I'll try to see VH next week.
 
I haven't seen it, but I want to. Anyone know when it will air again? I heard the voices messed it up from my friend, and even without seeing it, I know it would probably disappoint me, too. I hate dubbed foreign films. The beauty of the language is taken away. I don't know if I'd want to watch a Korean girl speaking in ghetto English. Actually, I wouldn't, but since people have said that the movie is good, I'd probably catch it next time or just get the original somewhere.

Oh, and Battle Royale was awesome. Seen it so many times already. I can't stop watching it. I want that Special Version DVD, but I'm cheap.
