Big news on a Gran Turismo Volkswagen Concept to be unveiled at the Volkswagen Fest, heres's more info from ign.....
Famitsu.com reports that Kazunori Yamauchi, director of Polyphony Digital's Gran Turismo series, will be making an appearance during the races at Volkswagen Fest, a promotional event at Japan's Fuji Speedway on September 14. Showing off his game is only part of the reason for his attendance -- apparently, he will also be competing in one of the day's races.
Also to be shown at the event is yet another special version of Gran Turismo 3. This time, it's a VW Special Edition, similar to promotion versions made for Toyota and others, featuring speedy Golfs and applications of VW's new W12 engines. Both Lamborghini and Bugatti are technically part of the VW group -- will the Murcielago and Veyron supercars make an appearance, perhaps? Probably wishful thinking, but it's fun to ponder nonetheless.
