Volkswagen Golf (Mk7) R400 Concept 2014

The Golf R400 concept is a 400 PS (395 hp) AWD version of the Golf that is said to do 0-62 mph in 3.9 seconds and going on to hit a limited top speed of 174 mph. It uses a 2 litter turbocharged engine and a haldex AWD system. It has wider wheel arches and a racy body kit that distinquish it from the more plebeian Golfs and the interior is home to a pair of Motorsport inspired shell racing seats.

Needless to say it looks badass and should go like all hell...and I want one!

It was planned for production but any unnecessary models were postponed or cancelled in the wake of the Diesel-gate scandal. Unfortunately the Golf R420 was given the chop.
