The best FF winner of a race of long duration.
In 1983, the surprising victory Passat category "Hot Car" of the three drivers Vicente Correa, Valdir Silva and Faust Wajchemberg, which did not actually drive the car. The start of the race was dominated by strong Opalas Stock Car, but the durability and strength, a fundamental test of endurance, were the weak points of these cars, opening the way for the leadership of the Passat. After the race, the VW was unrestrained and had to give back the most on the runway due to the inattention of the then Municipal Secretary of Sports of St. Paul, in the same "style" Pele in Brazil Gp F1 2002 gave the checkered flag after winning pass the finish line. But the advantage of 4 laps was comfortable for the 2nd place, an almost standard Opala, and the victory was safe. A Passat also got the 4th position in the race, with the three drivers Roberto Mourão, Vinícius Pimentel and Rodrigo Castro.
