Not to nitpick or anything, but I thought I'd note that this one has hallmarks of a model no earlier than 1971. Those taillights and bumper bowed for the 1970 facelift and VW didn't start implementing those slot vents in the rear pillars (which I love, by the way) until '71, to replace pop-out quarter windows for the through-flow ventilation.

The facelifted front end isn't nearly as graceful as that of the earlier cars, though:
