A Volkswagen XL1. With the 200bhp, 11,000rpm "Superquadro" twin-cylinder from the Ducati 1199 Superleggera. In a car that weighs under 900kg...

0 - 60mph in 5.7 seconds, and the streamlined body helps it reach a top speed of 168mph.

Lol have you been watching the car suggestion forums in recent days? People do everything just to be the first who suggests a car, going as far as "reserving" cars amirite @StarLight ?
T'was an in-joke between chucklesworth and I.

Now THAT is my kind of Volkswagen!! Is this thing scheduled for limited production? Because it's about time VW actually produced one of their hot concepts (W12 Coupe/W12 Roadster/GX3/EcoRacer I'm looking at y'all!)

And it would also make a fantastic rival for the Opel EcoSpeedster, if that ever made it into GT, which it probably won't.

This is an awesome looking thing. It is nice to see some cross-over between VAG cars and Ducati. This would be a decent engine for an Up! GTI.

Wow, this car is awesome, good choice and good finding too. 👍
It's almost impossible not to vote on this car except you aren't "blind". :D

Supercar, distilled. Perfect little stinger to embarrass a few snobs at a stop sign. As for the the production possibility... Nil. Will cost way too much. Just look at normal XL1. But PERFECT for a video game. (Hint: Gran Turismo)

i wish we had more VWs in GT
