Volvo L60G PCP (Worlds Fastest Front End Loader)
SPECIFICATIONS
Swecon, the dealer for Volvo Construction Equipment in Sweden has announced a new world speed record from their performance concept wheel loader – the Volvo L60G PCP (Performance Concept Prototype). The announcement was made to the press at Anderstorp Raceway in Sweden.
Experienced female operator Karin Olsson sat behind the wheel and took the Volvo L60G PCP to it's first run record of 103 km/h & increased that record to 120 km/h on it's second run - which set a new world speed record for wheel loaders. The idea of the concept was born at Volvo Construction Equipment five years ago and got new life when Swecon’s partner in motorsport, Volvo Polestar Racing, presented a Volvo C30 PCP with four-wheel drive and 335 hp which attracted global attention. Swecon followed suit with the blue performance concept machine in association with the launch of three new models in Volvo's G-series wheel loaders, the L60G, L70G and L90G.
