Vote for me to win a test period with the new fanatec CSR-E!

hello, people of ForzaPlanet. I'm Porsche 914/6, the most active poster on forzamotorsport.net, and I'm one of 15 people that's got an opportunity to win a trial period with the new fanatec CSR-Elite wheel. I'd be spending my time with the wheel writing previews and answering the questions of the forza community (that's you!). this means that I'd be active on this forum (amongst many others) posting my thoughts on the wheel and answering the specific questions that you all have, whether it's the material from which the "a" button is made or how the force feedback feels whilst driving any car/track combination in particular.

however, in order to get this opportunity, I need votes. the top three vote receivers get wheels, and while I'm currently in third place, fourth is fast approaching. I'd like to give you guys intimate details at your whimsy, but I can't do that unless I can actually get the wheel for the trial period!

if you want to vote for me (and I won't think any less of you if you choose not to, I'm simply informing you all that you have the opportunity to do as such), feel free to vote at the URL below.

even if you choose not to vote for me or anybody else in the pole, thanks for at least taking the time to read my post!

oh, and apologies for not being active on this forum yet. I just found it this morning, I hope you don't mind if I start posting here regularly!

What a complete waste of time Thomas' sign up for beta testing page at 911wheel.com was. Lets everyone fill out all those forms only to move the goal posts after the shot and have silly competitions on message boards most buyers will never even read.

I agree Lickity, but I think these competitions are different from the original beta testing page at 911wheel. These competitions are supposed to be for the "purpose of choosing community members to provide reviews and opinions of the wheels for the Forza community."

I took that last part from the first post at forzamotorsport.net. If you go check it out you'll see a familar name from the 911wheel blog is running it.

However, if you want to talk about the fact that all of these contests, excluding gtplanets, can be rigged in various ways, then I'm right there with you. I've actually seen Porsche9146 around, so I have no problem voting for him.

I assume that you, along with me, did not get chosen as a "real beta" testor.

Good luck Well done to Porsche 914/6
I dont frequent the official forums but wish you all the best.

Wrong actually as some of the people chosen by Thomas from his blog (not a vote) have had a beta wheel for 2 weeks already!

I personally have put in over 25 hrs testing with it so far and will be collaborating with the lucky winners on GTP forums when they get theirs.

Good to see you were chosen. Are you going to be able to share your testing results with us in future?

I had planned putting my own report on the GTP hardware section.
Their will be several that will likely appear so good to have them all handy.

Perhaps I can do a FM4 specific feature for Forza Planet looking closely at FM3 PWTS - FM4 CSR Elite.

What has improved and changed since PWTS & FM3?
Report Coming Soon!

I can't and won't discuss anything about the wheel yet.

Yeah, never got chosen, even though I was among the first 100 people in the entire world to have a PWTS retail edition and a youtube channel with thousands and thousands of views. I've also owned a Fanatec wheel since 2005. When I get my CSR Elite wheel I'll just post a video of me using it. Not going to spend any of my time reviewing it after this.
