Welcome to the VRR Offline World Touring Car Championship, if you have not entered an offline championship before please have a look at the quick guide below.

An offline series works by entrants filling out a form for an AI driver's on track personality (talent), and submitting a livery for the AI driver's car. This series also goes beyond that for team owners, a team owner may alter their chosen car's stats before the season starts to enhance performance. This comes with a financial structure which will be laid out in the spoilers. Races are run by the organizer and broadcast at a later date on youtube per the set schedule.

Each round consists of:
2 practice sessions
1 15 minute qualifying session
2 50 minute races
1.01: All teams participating in this series must compete using the approved list of cars.
1.02: Approved cars for the 2019 season consist of:
Alfa Romeo Guilietta TCR
Ford Focus TCR
Honda Civic TCR
Peugeot 308 TCR
Volkswagen Golf TCR
1.03: Teams may enter 1 to 4 car teams.
1.04: Teams are allowed to have associated junior teams but the team manager must be a different person to the senior team and the teams cannot share a single name.
1.05: Teams with factory designation must field at least 2 cars for the full season.
1.06: Managers wishing to reserve a factory team must state so with a post in this thread, factory teams are first come first served.
1.07: Teams must purchase a Headquarters per the financial rules to compete in the series.
1.08: The field limit size is 30 cars.
2.01: All liveries must first and foremost be in compliance with GTPlanet's Acceptable Use Policy.
2.02: Driver surnames must be present on both side rear windows.
2.03: National flags for each driver must be present on the wing endplates.
2.04: Car numbers must be present on the windshield and both rear side windows of the car.
2.05: A primary sponsor and up to 9 associate sponsors can be present on the car. Primary sponsors are exclusive to that driver and their team, whereas associate sponsors can be shared by any driver in the field as an associate sponsor only.
2.06: Engine logos must appear on the tip of the hood and on the face of the decklid, both must be centred.
2.07: Tire manufacturer logo must appear on the front fenders above the wheel and on the rear window banner.
2.08: The series logo must appear on the driver door below the side mirrors.
2.09: If possible, team logos must appear to the rearward side of the logo.
2.10: Tobacco, political, and pornographic sponsors are prohibited.
2.11: Alcoholic sponsorship is limited to drivers 21 years of age and older.
2.12: Manufacturers may have extra branding at the nose of the hood and the top of the decklid. This does not count as primary or associate sponsorship.
2.13: Itashas, "MLG" cars, and any ludicrous designs also will be discarded.
2.14: All sponsors on the cars must be real life companies.
3.01: All GTPlanet members, as well as VRR Discord members, have the ability to enter an AI driver eligible to compete in a VRR B-Spec Series. These AI drivers enable the ability for people to race when they otherwise cannot compete in an A-Spec series.
3.01.1: All interested participants must fill out a mandatory sheet detailing driver stats, and personal details about their driver such as hometown, nationality, date of birth, and requested salary. The form provided will detail the importance of these inclusions.
3.02: AI drivers must enable creativity in VRR. Parodying or trying to use a real life racing driver, living or deceased will see that attempt immediately nullified and will not be acknowledged.
3.02.1: Using celebrities, living or deceased, or fictional characters, currently being used or discontinued, will not be acknowledged or allowed by VRR.
3.02.2: AI drivers must have a realistic first and last name. Drivers must also originate from a realistic location. For example, SpongeBob Squarepants from Bikini Bottom is not acceptable.
3.03: AI drivers must have statistics entered for them to program how they behave on the race track. GTPlanet members can control how their drivers behave on track as well as their pit crew.
3.03.1: A form available at the bottom of the original post for this series is available for anyone to enter one (1) AI driver.
3.04: AI drivers can get injured in crashes in VRR. In the instance that a driver is injured, that AI driver's owner cannot make their own replacement. Another GTPlanet member can have their AI driver called in as a substitution until the original AI driver is fit enough to return to action.
3.04.1: In the instance that an injury is deemed appropriate, VRR and the GTPlanet member in question will determine in advance of the race being broadcast what those injuries may be and the time they will miss in the season.
3.04.2: In the instance that an AI driver is deemed to have suffered fatal injuries, the GTPlanet member may be given the opportunity to register a new AI driver which will become active the following season. This may be done up to twice.
3.04.3: In the instance that the injured driver needs to be retired, the GTPlanet member controlling the driver may create a substitution.
4.01: As per rule 1.06 every team must purchase a headquarters to participate in this series.
4.02: Headquarters come in 3 sizes: Minnow, Average, and Factory.
4.02.1.1: A Minnow size HQ is capable of housing 1 premier championship and 1 support championship effort, or 2 support championship efforts.
4.02.1.2: To staff a Minnow HQ costs $200,000 for 40 staff per car.
4.02.1.3: Leasing a Minnow size HQ costs $300,000 per year.
4.02.1.4: A team wishing to upgrade their Minnow HQ will pay a one time fee of $500,000
4.02.2.1: An Average size HQ is capable of housing 3 premier championship efforts or up to 6 support championships, or any number in between at a 1 premier for 2 support exchange rate.
4.02.2.2: To staff an Average HQ costs $250,000 for 50 staff per car.
4.02.2.3: Leasing an Average size HQ costs $600,000 per year.
4.02.2.4: A team wishing to upgrade their Average HQ will pay a one time fee of $1,000,000
4.02.3.1: A Factory size HQ is capable of housing more than 3 premier championship and all support championship efforts. This HQ size is mandatory for factory run efforts.
4.02.3.2: To staff a Factory HQ costs $300,000 for 60 staff per car.
4.02.3.3 Leasing a Factory HQ costs $900,000 per year.
4.03.1: A single rolling chassis costs $450,000
4.03.2.1: An engine costs $75,000
4.03.2.2: A non-factory team may lease engines and all costs associated at a per car cost of $175,000
4.03.2.3: Engine leases are paid to the factory team of the non-factory team's manufacturer
4.03.2.4: Non-factory teams may choose to tune their engines further when their testing session comes up.
4.03.2.5: Any non-factory team that chooses to tune their engines further will bear full of engines ans is not eligible to lease from their respective factory team.
4.03.2.6: An engine involved in a race ending crash must be rebuilt at a cost of $25,000
4.03.2.7: An engine that blows up on its own is considered scrap and a new engine must be purchased or built.
4.03.3.1: A single transmission costs $40,000
4.03.3.2: A transmission involved in a race ending crash must be rebuilt at a cost of $10,000
4.03.4: Tires for the season cost $315,000 paid to Yokohama
4.03.5: Fuel for the season costs $50,500 paid to Esso
4.04.1: The full cost to start up a minimal team for 1 year at 1 car costs $1,530,500
4.04.2: The full cost to start up a Factory team at the 2 car minimum costs $3,310,500
4.05.1.1: A primary sponsor will sign on with a new team at $1,200,000
4.05.1.2: A primary sponsor will pay out $40,000 per race finish.
4.05.1.3: A primary sponsor will pay out $20,000 per race start that results in a DNF
4.05.2.1: An associate sponsor will sign on with a new team at $100,000
4.05.2.2: An associate sponsor will pay out $5,000 per race finish
4.05.2.3: An associate sponsor will pay out $2,500 per race start that results in a DNF
5.01: FICA WTCC employs an upgrading system for teams to alter the stock performance of their cars.
5.02: Testing will take place at the Sydney Motorsports Park
5.03.1: Factory teams may take part in 5 sessions
5.03.2: Factory teams receive 300 development points before the first test to generally set the full speed of the car.
5.03.3: Managers will receive their results at the end of the session and will be allowed to shift up to 150 development points however they choose.
5.03.4: The second test will be run and managers may shift up to 90 development points upon receiving their results.
5.03.5: The third test will be run and managers may shift up to 45 development points upon receiving their results.
5.03.6: The fourth test will be run and managers may shift up to 15 development points upon receiving their results.
5.03.7: All teams may participate in the final test if they choose. Managers of non factory teams will receive the results of the 4th test to see what the car's current pace is.
5.03.8: The final test is run and upon receiving their results managers may choose which development results to use during the season.
5.04.1: Testing points carry a cost of $1000 per point shifted.
5.04.2: Test 1 development costs are subsidized by the series.
5.04.3: Factory teams carry a shared track rental cost of $500,000 for the full testing season.
5.04.4: Non-factory teams making the trip for the final test carry a travel cost of $50,000 per car and $25,000 for track fees.
5.01: Mid season testing takes place before round 9 at Curitiba.
5.02: Teams that wish to participate carry a travel cost of $20,000 per car and a track rental fee of $7,500 per team.
5.03: The development points available for shifting at the test is set at 20.
5.04: Development points cost $1,500 per point at the mid season test.
5.05: Test 1 is run without modification to set a baseline.
5.06: Test 2 is run with the altered development points.
5.07: Managers may choose to keep their old development or run the new numbers following the second test.
6.01: Race payouts are found in this section, all races pay out the same purse.
