VW ID.R19 WHY?

Remind me why this car is in the game. I find it useless. Detuned to 700 pp, its boring to drive. It can't be used in a fuel consumption race, 1 1/2 laps at Sardegna with no ablity to control consumption before it's out of charge. So, where do you use it?
 
Hotlapping, custom races and lobby races come to mind :) I've driven it a fair bit and really like it.
 
It's pretty fun to pit against the Escudo, especially since both are famed Pikes Peak cars (although the ID.R less so, at least in its GT7 form).
