Not sure if this has been posted yet but as of about a month ago, VW own 100% of Porsche's shares, effectively making VW the owner of Porsche!

What does this mean? Maybe Polyphony Digital can now license Porsch for use in GT5/6!

What does this mean?
It means VW owns Porsche. Nothing more.

It doesn't mean anything in regards to any of Porsche's prior licencing deals being invalidated. It doesn't even mean that any of Porsche's prior licencing deals won't be renewed.

Very old news. And not surprising. Porsche overextended itself in the attempted VW takeover, now VW takes over Porsche to help address the debt.

VW's ownership has never meant anything but good things for brands in its portfolio, and Porsche's money cow, the Cayenne, was made with VAG hardware. Nothing at all will change for Porsche.

You guys think VW will order Porsche around, or will leave Zuffhausen to their own devices?

I personally think VW's look like the dry toast of cars, but I can't knock them for their business savvy.

I think we may see some parts/platform sharing, but that's no different from what happens now.

I actually expect even more platform sharing between VW and Porsche.

Who knows what can happen. Rear wheel drive Jetta anyone?
