W.R.S. IndyCar League

Welcome to the first season of the World Racing Series IndyCar League. This series will travel to a variety of different styles of circuits across the globe.

Cars
The cars that will be used for the season will be the Formula Gran Turismo's. However, they can only be oil changed as standard, to keep competition fair.

Entries
There are 14 race spaces and 1 safety official space. The safety official is assigned to the pace car, which will be the Nissan Skyline R34 Pace Car Edition, for cautions etc.

A team entry can only have 2 permanent drivers and as many testing and reserve drivers as they like, test drivers can also be reserve drivers. The person who enters a team can decide who to let join the team and decide on their own about team decisions.

Rules
1. No excess bumping
2. No excess blocking
3. No relying on other drivers to turn a corner
4. Bump drafting is allowed, however if an incident occurs the driver will be held responsible
5. No rage-quitting, DC's will be given points from last position seen
6. Cars must meet requirements (only an oil change) - there is a scrutineering session before qualifyingto ensure no drivers have an advantage
7. No significent corner cutting

Yellow flags/Cautions:
If an incident occurs between 1 or more drivers, for example if a driver spins then the yellow flag with NO caution will be issued, this means drivers may not have to slow down although they'll have to be cautious in that section of the track.

If 1 or more drivers are involved in an incident where they make contact with each other or the wall, the yellow flag WITH caution will be issued as the driver(s) involved may only be able to travel slowly due to damage. When the safety car is brought out (over chat), drivers not involved in the incident will slow down to 60mp/h (100km/h) until the safety picks up the leader, then the safety car will lead the field round the circuit at 100mp/h (160km/h) while the driver(s) involved in the incident can get round to the pits to get repaired and rejoin at the back of the line.

Yellow flags or Cautions will not come out after the leader crosses the line for 2 laps to go.

Red Flag:
The most common reason the red flag could come out is if the weather turns bad too fast and the circuit becomes to hard to drive, then the red flag will come out along with the safety car (who will sit at the end of the pit lane exit) while drivers pit to change tires. Once drivers have changed their tires and the race is under control the safety car will pull in before the pits and the leader can restart the race whenever he wants after the safety car has pulled in.

Black flag:
If any driver commits an offence or breaches any rules, they will be given the black flag (after being warned once) and they will have to return to the pits and sit out the rest of the race. After receiving the black flag that driver will receive a reprimand, or 2 penalty points.

Regulations
1. Cars have to only have an oil change.
2. Cars will be given tuning/settings for each race.
3. At the Oval races, cars will be power restricted by 20%.
