THey didnt did they??? In the hairpin turn at infineon they didnt put a wall all along the inside did they? cause every time you watch a professional race there, you are meant to cut onto the curbing (which is actually just paint) to get around that turn!

Isn't that "turn" normally a parking lot anyway?

I wouldn't be surprised if PD put a wall there. They like to put walls in places that they aren't in reality. Eitherway I'm still looking forward to running laps there. Kinda makes me wish PD had a NASCAR or two in the game (this coming from a avid F1 fan...haha)

For professional races at Infineo they put up tires for where a wall should be. It's not exactly on the paint stripe, but there's still a barrier preventing you from completely cutting the corner. PD merely put a wall there in its place.

yes, they put 4 stacks of tyres about 5 feet inside the 'kerb' line. I just hope that they havent put a concrete wall right on the kerb line, because that would make it less realistic in terms of the line you would take through there.

And the reason its there is NOT because of nascar, its because its a great sportscar track!

I love Sears Point and am quite lucky considering I live only 45-50 minutes away. Also the sprint kart track is incredible!

i'm about an hour away and have been there dozens of times 👍 :)

Whenever I've seen races there on TV, it looks like they put a double row of Jersey wall almost down to the end, and then put cones or big styrofoam blocks for the last bit, allowing about 20' of painted area to cut through.

That's not normally parking lot; that's normally the lineup area for the 1/4 mile drags, I believe.

Sears Point is one of my favorites and I can't wait to race there a lot.
