I had an idea and i dont know if its even possible. But, i dont have dual monitors but i still want to use the extra wide wallpapers without having to select a section and cropping the rest out.

So what i was wanting to know, is if i could just have it scroll to the left or to the right in an infinite loop, so pretty much an active background.

pic i want to use.

Edit: Im sure this will take some HTML knowledge, which i have none lol

If you have Vista Ultimate you can use Dreamscene to have a video as wallpaper. Otherwise you can't natively in Windows (Though I don't know about 3rd party tools)

Ah! Thank you. I googled Dreamscene for win7 and it seems they have released it for Win7 also. It seems alot simpler and probably will yeild a nicer look. Because i had actually made a HTML marquee and set the image to it instead of text. But i had to convert to .gif which made it slightly grainy... Made it have a like a filtered effect which made it look kinda cool but not really what i wanted :P

Hopefully this program works out. Ill come back and post my finding.

Edit: Works great if i want a clip as a background, but if i want to use my image ill have to make it into a .wmv, .avi, or some other video format and figure out how to make it have a clean panoramic scrolling effect. Which Windows movie maker does not have lol
