Mekon....I have a sharkport site and was wondering if I could put your Hybrid save on it....

If you wanna check it out then check the link in the sig....but beware its kinda under construction right now...
 
sure, no problem. However, you should check that the NTSC one works, as someone said it does, and someone else said it doesn't. The PAL one definitely does work, and MKs program reads the NTSC one too, so it should work.
 
Yes both have worked fine on my game....I used it to boost up my Diablo before I read this post and thought I was the first to do it but I was wrong :(
 
Couple of quick questions for Meks:

1. Can you edit the garage order, e.g. move individual cars as in GT2? If so, must this be done on your PC?

2. Can you edit the names of the cars in your garage or is this just wishful thinking?

3. In fact, is there anywhere that I can get a list of what can be done / features of the software?

P.S. You'd better make start on my list as my PS2 X-port disc is FUBAR. Replacements in stock in MARCH. So I'm KIA :cry: I'll update the thread if I think of any more "concept cars" ;)

Not really, still getting the feel for it. Tried a 4wd F1,not good.lol
Made a couple 300mph ones that handle decent. FTO and Nismo 400. The Nismo drifts great at high speeds even with SS tires on.

One more tip. You can add high downforce by exporting the car then opening the file and editing the text. Downforce is lines #292 and 296. It's 1 number value diffrent.
Example F1 downforce is
292=-71
296=-131
which in the game/program is
front 0.70
rear 1.30
After you edit car file, import it back and Viola.
That way you can go higher then the settings allow.
 
yo mekkon how do you drop the car so it will be lower to ground? have a supra that wants to be dropped...
 
Epic: My suggestion is that you take the chassis and suspension from a Toms Supra, and transplant them onto your stock Supra, that way, you'll have a full range of adjustment. I have a CLK thats running 45mm off the deck.

Sideout: Usually a big beast of an engine (like an Escudo), a decent turbo (maybe off a Supra), maybe a chip off a Nismo 400R, and so on. The key is to look for parts that make a big difference in there host cars.

Perhaps someone can help me with this.

I'm getting a checksum error everytime I try to load an edited .sps back into the Sharkport2.

If I save the garage from the hybrid program without making any changes, it works fine.

Any ideas would be extremely helpful.
