Have tried exiting the game ,turnig off the console, uninstalling the game, deleting saved data - everything. Same thing every time, the cheapest car that I can buy is just over 20.000
Dont know how to earn more money without being able to race.

Help?
 
There should be a premium model Honda Civic available from the new car dealership for just over 19,000 Cr.

There isn't a problem here. Your obvious solution is to simply not buy a used car and rather buy a new one from the dealerships. As already suggested, there's a Honda Civic that is probably your best bet, as you can afford it the moment you start playing, it is a level 0 car (you can't buy higher levels yet), and it actually performs well enough to easily be competitive right away in early races.
 
Buy a go-kart.
Do the special event for karting.
You will will be on your way in no time.

Give the license tests a shot too.
 
Do some license tests.
1. They'll bring in 6 new cars in the Used Car Dealership per try.
2. If you complete a whole license, you get a car. (and another two for all sliver and all gold.)
3. They'll get you xp so you can buy higher level cars.
 
my first car was a Golf MK1 :sly:, very cheap and put it the rest in modifications, i have no problems wining a lot of first races
 
i used a Suzuki Swft '07. Pretty swift little car i must say
 
dont buy a car. do the kart races, licences etc. youll make enough money to buy a nice car

OT: I'd recommend the karting approach described above if you've really set your heart on having a used starter car!
 
The kart is the first car you win though.
 
The cheaper Daihatsu 15,000 cr in the Dealership - premium. It was fun..

you still have to buy a car in order to do anything.


anyway you can but a "new" civic, miata, suzuki swift from the dealerships.


The civic is probably your best bet.
 
Might want to verify some of these suggestions. It was either licensing or special events (or both) that I wasn't even able to try without first buying a car... unless it's been changed since release. My intent was to skip the used POS and just earn money for something nicer and I wasn't able to.
 
Umm, did the game force you to buy something from dealership? I remember I try to do licence first and game telling me to buy car from dealershp first.

People are telling him to just do some license testing first and hold off on buying a car. Great idea, but unfortunately it's not possible! I distinctly remember trying to go straight to the first driving license test, but it won't allow you to do so until you've purchased a car.

To the people suggesting purchasing the kart, this seems silly as well considering you unlock the racing kart after getting the first driving license. You'll end up with two identical karts very early in the game.
 
Yes it forces you to buy a car first. Pick up the 1989 MX-5. Cheap, fun, fast, and it kicks ass. :D
 
Go buy a miata, you need 1 for the endurance race anyways.
 
Buy the Civic in the dealership, save up then race mod it.
 
I started with the Suzuki Cappuccino. Hah. That was fun.
 
Thank you for all the replys. This helped me out very much. The reason I didnt think I could buy a new car, is because it said "number of cars available 0" at the bottom. Didnt even bother to check out any of the brands.
