Hello guys, I know this is a long post, but you'll probably agree, and I want to hear al your opinions!
After playing GT5 for several weeks now, i'm kinda tired of it. Mainly because I miss a lot of things that were included in GT4, let me explain.
First of all it's the realy, REALY old cars: to name a few:
Auto Union V16 Type C Streamline 1937
Ford Model T Tourer 1915
Mercedes-Benz Benz Patent Motor Wagen 1886
Mercedes-Benz Daimler Motor Carriage 1886
and several more (please let me know if these ARE includes, and I somehow missed them). These cars waren't good, or fast, but that isn't the point. It was just realy fun to "race" with them against my mates!
Also Prosche isn't included in the game, witch is realy sad because they are one of the best known sportscarmakers in the world (I can almost hear u say: what about the RUF's then? But thats like a Amuse S2000, thats also a honda, but not realy.)
Some tracks are 'missing', first the one that realy should be in there:
the big oval from GT4, even if it was a 1on1 copy from GT4 that would have been fine. Also Spa Francoshamps, in the eyes of the F1 drivers the most beautiful and fun track on the calender (And because I am from Belgium). Silverstone, Road America, Catalunya, Shanghai, Albert Park (Melbourne), Circuit Gilles Villeneuve (Montréal), and so on...
Interior view! Every car should have it, even if it looks like the one from the PSP version! This is a big one in my eyes!
The Ferrari F1 cars that can't be driven in A-spec or B-spec. The word lincence has come to my ear but I don't think thats the problem, because if it were, the F1's wouldn't be included at all. And you where able to drive the F2007 in GT5P.
Challenges and licence tests are too difficult for the casual gamer with a controller. We would be happy with Bronze, but sometimes even that is way to difficult (pointing at the S. Vettel challenge). There must be a golden midway?
Than the difference in S & P cars. I know they can't make all of them premium but please let us buy them at will, not by luck in de UCD! Thats all i have to say about this.
A dragstrip. I know it sounds childish, but i want to know if my souped up M3 can beat a F40. I think al lot of people think this (once they read this thread that is). But it should be more of a game mode. Eg: you get your car and you can choose what the opponent will drive (would be nice if it could be one of your cars as well) and than choose a distance (quatrer mile, half mile and a full mile?). And a top speed run mode (Remember GT4, both those modes were included!)
The engine sounds seem to be complety wrong in the replay mode. eg: when I drive my standard F40 aganist some stock mini coopers (or that class) they are ALWAYS louder than my F40 at full throttle, I don't get it! I once drove along in a real F40 and it sounded like a nuclear war behind my back!
And final Race Modifications! What a load of ****. More car need to be made availeble for this or get it out!
So guys these were my frustrations and I probably forgot a few. So please tell me your frustrations!!
And to al HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
