I never thought I'd have this much trouble and frustration , wheel driving 550-600pp Lambos in this awesome seasonal.

I wish to please turn my miserable untuned understeering soapboxes, into cars that handle somewhat exactly like the 2 lap license challenge, which featured the white Galladro.

That car bit the Apexes, allowed you to drift with throttle modulation, and keep forward momentum, which is the way these wonderful Italian Stallions are meant to be driven.

Please share your tune settings, with short reasons for the desired adjustments.

Right now, I didn't spend much time on the new seasonal yet, but so far, all three of my tried Lambos: LP640 Murc, max upgraded (perhaps mistake?), Galladro, and '88 Countach, are suffering bad understeer, and difficult to keep any forward momentum prior Apex cornering. If car is aligned at the right speed, then I love to hammer the gas at power Rev, and maintain red hot wheels until it gets to the next corner. Then it all falls apart again.

Rear Toe, should it be + or - ?
would altering camber simply cause this car to misbehave as it is intended?
should heights differ front & back?
Should there be a wing? can a wing cause worse effects for understeer?
how do I set springs, soft & hard, is it smaller or larger numbers, still didn't figure this one out....
is limiting engine (to lower pp) detremental to car power band? I'm skeptical about this.
Sports Hard or Sports Soft? I want the best handling tire. No racing tires, to match AI.
I'd love to experiment with gear ratios on this event / cars. Perhaps the secret lies in there!

I know what I want from my car, I just want to translate it to a tune, and I cannot quick tune, I just want to drive it with joy.

Definitely the most challenging seasonal to date, thank you PD.

I used the Super Veloce, -15 rear toe, 2.0 ft camber, 1.0 rear camber, max downforce, 25/75 LSD and 5/25/5, All aids off excepts ABS-1. Brake balance 4/2. Everything else stock, racing softs. And then I did it full mod, same tune, lowered PP to 600. Both good for me.

If you were to simply swap tires to Sport Hard / Soft, would your tune settings remain the same?

Different tires don't really affect tune settings. I used my Chromeline with stock set up with sport hard & finished third. Too much lock up & not knowing track well enough. Switched to sport soft & won. Once you get familiar with the track especilly when it gets dark you should have no problems.

I havent driven the LP640, but im assuming fully tuned its somewhat similar to a fully tuned LP670-4, if it is, id say dont even bother tuning it, just use race medium tyres and use the brakes to throw the nose into corners, follow it with power, and you're away, im usually in 1st by the end of at most 2nd lap in any of the seasonal lambo races. Really flies on the toscana event.

*EDIT*, sorry, what I meant to say was, im assuming the LP640 fully upgraded* is similar to LP670

honestly, it's all in the throttle modulation. a little lift off as you approach the corner to get it lined up, and then about mid throttle through the corner will work just fine. bone stock on sports tires. no need to go crazy with these cars. they just take a little getting used to

yes. The change would then be my application of throttle/brake....LESS aggressive with sport tires.....

this also ^

I beat that race with all my Lambos, but the most fun and easiest runs were with the Super Veloce only oilchange, sport softs, otherwise completely stock at around 578 pp, no driving aids except ABS 1.

Sorry I know this won't help you much I just don't get all the complaints about the Lambos, especially this one handles like a dream?

👍

TBH the set up on my Murclelago Super Veloce is pretty much standard its full tooled up from the tune side of things and the only thing I have changed is the torque splitter. I'm running 20/80 split and the power limiter at 77.5% I keep raising it after each race as the pp drops I can increase the bhp lol. its running 665bhp at the minute.

I have just gotten into the 1.23s on the nurburgring track. correct that just did a 1.22.

Don't worry, the answer you're looking for is very simple:
Leave the car untuned on standard suspension. You are describing a standard Galliardo, which is brilliant. Just put Sport Soft and enjoy. You can drive it like a maniac most of the time and it will draw perfect powerslides induced by trail braking or hearty stab of the throttle.
You may need 20-30 PS more than standard on some tracks, on other even the standard car is an overkill (e.g. Tuscany).

Don't spoil the car with 15K suspension that you cannot tune as good as the factory settings! Try it.

Thank you, I should run more cars with default suspension. This is the answer to my troubles, and thanks for above too.

You can induce understeer by upgrading the rear tires a grade over the front, or induce oversteer by upgrading the front tires a grade over the rear. If you're not the type of person who likes to jump straight to race softs and still enjoys the challenge of the game then you can experiment with these combinations. :)

I have a Gallardo fully lightened, sport softs, body kit, race suspension, stock power... works fine around any of these tracks. All you have to do is set the rear brake bias one step higher than the front- helps get the car turned in the right direction- at least IMO. You don't need super amounts of power- 560hp is enough to do the trick.

Here is a little something I threw together for Madrid Circuit but works on the other races just as well; it was easy enough at Madrid Circuit to come in second place (maybe opponents spawn different each time but first place car was fast) everytime, and requires some skill for first place... or just upgrade the tires I spec'd from Sport Soft to Race Hard if you are too lazy for that. Tuned for a competitive level to be fun and challenging but enough to win.

+ Sport Soft (or whatever you think you need, but races are winnable on SS)

* Stock clutch, stock flywheel, stock transmission is what I used; I don't guarantee consistent handling if you use this tune other than how I spec'd it above. If you are having a hard time winning then upgrade to race hards before any component changes because that will be more likely to handle similarly.

Get the LP640 and put the RKM Tune for the SV on this thing.
Thing is very easy to drive, and is in the regulations.

But the power Level down to about 90%, than you won't have any issues because of the more HP you get while racing.

I am driving the Superveloce and took my car to the Nurburgring GP/D track for testing and got the car about as good as i think im gonna get it. Here are my settings

for options:
A/T trans mission
Fr tires=racing soft
Rr tires=racing medium
traction control=1
Skid Rec Force=off
Active steering=mild
Active stability mgt=off
ABS=3

Car setup:
Body/chassis-ballast=30 ballast position=20
engine tuning=stage 2 w/ computer chip, full racing intake and exhaust,
Transmission=fully adjustable
Drivetrain-twin plate clutch & semi racing flywheel, carbon driveshaft
Differential=adjustable LSD-initial=10/20, acceleration=30/40
braking sensitivity=10/30
Torque sensing center differential-front=35, rear=65
Suspension-fully customizable-height= -10/-10, Spring rate= 12.5/12.5
dampers (ext)=6/6 (comp) 6/6, anti roll= 5/5
wheel alignment-camber angle= .08/.08, toe angle= -0.01/0.15
Brakes-balance controller- fr=7, rr=5
Tires- front= racing soft, rear=racing medium ( I tried soft on front and rear but it still pushed too much, when I tried the medium in the rear the back end started slightly drifting in corners and I cut 2 seconds off my lap times)

This is what worked for me, may not be to your liking but its worth a shot.
BTW, my max power is 843HP, weight is 1590kg, performance points at 610PP
*** I need to add that these settings were with the stock rear wing that gives no downforce or adjustment. I took the car to Circuit de la Sarthe and the full Nurburgring tracks and the car got really tail happy at high speeds above 150mph and while high speed braking. I went and bought the aftermarket rear wing (looks like hell on the car) and set at full downforce it was very stable at high speed and while braking. The trade off is that it ruins the handling on the smaller tracks while using these settings even with the downforce set at lowest. Kind of stupid that the car comes with a nice large wing but you cant make adjustments with it.

I did not do any special tuning on mine (ran the Gallardo then the SV), got gold on all five with racing soft tires and hp set to fit into the pp range. Was quite surprised at the first place in the Toscana though, I am a bad night driver! These races are loads of fun, but I did not find them too difficult and trust me, I am no ace behind wheel (pad in my case). I plan to run every Lambo I have in these races just to see how they stack up. Fun stuff!

I bought a lp670 for this event, and gold all with stock setting and sport soft, all assists off except abs 1. I don't see any necessity to tune the car for this event. I only look for suspension setting for time attack.

I was gonna say something to the same effect, albeit in a more snarky manner.

You guys are both sooooo awesome!
