Can you actually drive in the wet, or do you just say you can?
We're testing AI Pit Control — a strategy app for AI-driven F1 races in Assetto Corsa — and we've hit Stage 2: calibrating tire-change timing against a real human benchmark through a full weather cycle. We need drivers who don't lift off when the sky opens up.
F1 mods only. If you've got real wet-weather car control in an F1 car — not "survived a drizzle once" but genuinely fast in the wet — this one's for you.
The Test
One continuous session, one progressively evolving weather system:
Dry → Drizzle → Light Rain → Heavy Rain → Light Rain → Drizzle → Dry
You drive it straight through, on slicks until it's time to switch, on wets until it's time to switch back. No shortcuts, no restarts, no "let me redo that lap." We want your real reaction time and real pace — that's the whole point.
What We're Measuring
Basically: how good is your judgment on when to box, and how much pace do you lose (or hold onto) in each condition.
Who We Need
Why It Matters
Your data becomes the human benchmark — the reference line AI Pit Control's wet-tyre AI is calibrated against for Stage 2. This isn't a casual lap or two; it's what "correct" wet-weather strategy looks like, straight from a real driver.

What We're Measuring
- Tire change timing — exactly when you pit for wets, and when you pit back to slicks
- Average lap speed per weather phase — dry / drizzle / light / heavy / light / drizzle / dry
Basically: how good is your judgment on when to box, and how much pace do you lose (or hold onto) in each condition.
Who We Need
- F1 mod drivers only — Assetto Corsa F1 cars, any season/mod
- Confident in genuinely heavy rain, not just damp track
- Someone who can read the track surface and make a real strategic call on tire timing — not just react to a warning light
- Willing to log lap times/sector splits and rough timestamps of your pit decisions
