Warehouse view - Have i missed something?

Guys

I remember seeing a while ago on one of the pre launch videos that there was a warehouse view being demonstrated whereby you could zoom out ridiculously far but also pull it right in as well looking for cars and i believe to get info on them.

Does anyone know what happened to this? Is it in the game etc, i'm not entirely sure but just something i recall seeing....

Can anyone shed any light?

Dont know if thats what you might refer to. But if you start up GT5 one of the background sceneries for the starting screen is the Hangar 7 (a Red Bull facility in Salzburg Austria) that is filled with some race cars.

I'm quite sure it is not in the game though, and GT5 was probably only used to display this new feature by Sony :)

glad they left it out, horrible way to find a car if you have hundreds in your garage
would much prefer a "real" virtual garage with cars sorted by brand , like in the first Project Gotham Racing game.
