Does anyone play Warhammer 40K?? What army?
I started about 2 years ago, when me and my bud walked into hobby town usa, and he saw a cool looking tank model. turned out later that we found out it was a tabletop game. From then weve been hooked.

Haven't had the patience to work on a collection, but I have a few friends that do it. It's a pretty intense game, if you ask me. So many levels of involvement. It's a neat hobby, that I don't have time for. :(

it's a cool hobby but I have neither the time nor the money required to get into it. It's cool - but I just don't have the time :(

Ill admit, there is a huge level of involvement. but time wise, its all up to you. you dont have to paint the models, just slap them together, get the rule book and start playing. Ive got an army that STILL isnt even completly put together, much less the ones that are, most of em arent painted.
Once you get ALL the hundred rules or so, and you start to play, it is pretty intense.
oh, and like regular car models, dont let the pictures fool you. these are probably some of the hardest models to paint decently, for two reasons. 1) there to freakin small... 2) they are so freakin detailed. all in all, if you have the money, time and a friend to play with from time to time, I would suggest this game to anyone

the statement "I haven't got the time", is usually false. It shoud read "i just don't want to take time away for other things that i'm doing". ah, now that sounds about right. just nitpicking.

I'll argue that, but only to a point 87chevy. I'll use an example to represent my point, and if upon further review, you still need better explanation, I will spell it out a little less detailed.

I could argue the fact that yes, indeed, not having enough time is a replacement for the fabled, "I don't want to take my time from other events," but indeed, I disagree. They are yet, still very different in that you simply can't put forth time involvement necessary to survive and understand the game of Warhammer, if you are involved in Life-necessities, like Work, Grocery shopping, Chemo, etc.... Now, when referring to non-life essentials, like masturbation, video games, and female pop-star fanatacism, there is time to spare, so therefore you could riteousley call them the same thing.

Now, if you were to referr to this whole debate as a comparison between, "I don't want to waste my time on this..." to "I haven't got time..." which, in this case, seems to be the point that should be understood, not that you couldn't but you wouldn't, so to speak, then you'd have no case. As does this whole explanation seem to describe, the point made by yourself, was a complete waste of time, because, in fact, your arguement was so basic and general in topic, that it has no relevance to this discussion.

hello people!!!!

My Rc10 B3 hasn't been running for ages now. i just can't be stuffed to buy 2 simple parts for it. Due to price of carbon fibre parts and the nearest R/C shop that suplies AE products is to far away.

And i agree with that 14t double statement!!!!! They are quick!!!!

well well well, toyomatt went and just completely blew that whole thing out of proportion. good job.

and yeah, who gives a **** about your Rc10 B3 oldskool!!!!!

LONG LIVE THE TAU EMPIRE!!!

No problem, 87chevy. I'm glad you noticed.

Well, because you were supposed to. :trouble:

yes, apparently that's the only thing keeping threads going, is people overreading other people's posts.

Or just extremely lame additions made by underrage, wannabe-postwhores. Take it either way, it can be a nuisance.

yes that too.

well, I have to admit i packed up all my Warhammer stuff and sent it to the Self-Storage unit. I've decided to not make time for it. Instead i now spend my free time on NCAA Football 2004. But i will not forget my Tau army, i will finish it one of these days.

ive got a dark angels amry around here somewhere, and i believe ive got a small praetorian force around here somewhere as well, not that ive used then in like 2 or 3 years, its just too expensive these days, i stop playing for a couple of years, and BBAAAMMMM box sets are nearly double the price! WTF??
i still buy white dwarf every month tho lol, i still like to read up on it

have you read any of the novels? They are really fun reading. Actually the.... what's the word....the exra stuff that's about the game is almost more interesting than the game itself. It's really fun just to read all the codexs and new articles and side stories that come out about the amries and their histories.

ps. oh, and part of the price hike is that for some reason Games Workshop yanked all it's merchandise from retailers. Now you have to buy it at suggested retail price. There is no price competition now. They can charge whatever they want, and their prices are ridiculous.

DA ORKSIE BOYZ ROOL! AN' BOSS GROTSNAK IS DA MEANEST UV 'EM ALL!!!

bah! how did this happen i thought i was looking for GT4 videos
