We have 2 PS3's and cannot play in LAN mode. If PS3 #1 sets up the LAN, PS3 #2 cannot see it; and vice versa.
We cannot set up an onilne match and have the other PS3 join that game. After about 20 seconds of loading a message says "Join Failed". We have tried 2 player matches with and without passwords. We've tried 2 player matches with 1 buddy slot and still we get that message.
One of the PS3's is in DMZ and the other does have the Warhawk ports opened, as given by Sony's phone support.

TCP: 80 443 5223 10070-10080
UDP: 3478-3479 3658 10070
We have a 2Wire 1701HG Wireless Gateway router/modem.
The game does support wireless or wired LAN & online gaming.
I've been through Sony Knowledge Base and there is no technical info there. Simply explanations of what is already in the manual.
