Warranty happiness

My less than 3 month old DFGT died and has been sent in for warranty. During the initial contact with them I mentioned I wouldnt mind upgrading to the G-27 and they directed me to someone who offered a 20% discount on the G-27 which is their tradein upgrade deal. Well I did not want a G-27 badly enough to basically pay $130 for the DFGT and then $240 again. After receipt of my unit at Logitech I received a message which was at the Logitech site(My Account) and it offered a code for 50% off the G-27 in lieu of warranteeing the DFGT. That puts the total at $280 for a G-27 which I jumped on. Only caveat is the whole world is out of stock on G-27 and the next shipment is 4-11, about a week longer than warranty on the DFGT would have taken.
 
good to hear mate, I'm also waiting on a G27 from Logitech as a replacement for my G25 that was faulty.

Been waiting since august last year
 
They told me they will have them back in the warehouse in another 2 weeks, then a week for shipping.
 
According to Logitech, i should have received an email by today (two weeks since i contacted them) to confirm my replacement G27 was on its way. I rang the support line to find out why i haven't heard anything from them, they are now saying G27 will not be in stock until 25th April.
 
My DFGT recently died on me also. I contacted Logitech and asked about returning it and paying the difference for the G27 (as many others have done), and I was informed that they stopped doing that the 1st of March. No big deal though, as they already shipped out the new DFGT yesterday and gave me free 2 day air shipping, so I should have it by the weekend. 👍
