Watch Race

So I am currently hosting an F1 game in Suzuka. We're all driving the F10s. Normally, I set 1'30.X laps which are generally very quick. A guy is in my game setting 1'27s over and over.

I went into "Watch Race" to watch him, but I can only view him in the sort of cinematic replay style view. Can I watch him from his perspective/cockpit or any other view so that I can actually see his line? Or does the game not allow you to do this for that reason?

As far as I know, you can only view from the cinematic style.

You'll need to save the replay, and then you can view the race from his perspective. Unfortunately there is no way to view his cockpit view in real time.

This is most likely a lag & jitter issue.
The jerky movement of the car would seem exagerated from a fixed on-board view.

As others have mentioned, you can only see cockpit or first person perspective on a replay. Even then the replay is often of such poor quality that it makes it difficult to follow what someone is actually doing on the track.👎
