Remember the Super Soaker 2000? I remember it clear as day. It had the fatty water tank you strapped to your back, plus it had a container attached to the gun itself. It was beefy, I mean it was a heavy thing for a first-grader to be carrying. It had mad water pressure. Then I remember that I dropped the water gun once while it was full and it broke. Piece of ****.

Yeah - I loved those things. I remember everybody trying to get the largest, most powerful one, too. Ahhh, the memories...

Super Soakers were tight! :) I used to have a Super Soaker 75 and 100. I remember my friend had a 200, it was like the 100 but, it was red and had two tanks.

I remember I had the standard super-soaker, but I put the hose connected to my supersoaker, so I never had to pump and had the max. pressure:D

As a kid growing up BEFORE super soakers, I am still partial to the large spray bottles with the "screw-adjustable" tip for a wide or narrow spray. They were the bomb "old skool".

What is even better is just using the hose with your thumb over the end of the tube. Good times, good times...

Small enough for a cop to mistake it as a real gun, giving him a reason to shoot ya,... as some would say.

I doubt that! These things were small, but had a water tank on top and were always brightly colored, Orange, Green, Purple.

Remember, we are talking about Super Soakers not bebe guns! ;)

The small hand held ones were the coolest in my opinion. Lots of power, yet small enough to put in your bookbag!

I had a 2000 (which I lost) and a small one about the size of an UZI that had better pressure than the 2000.

I think I still have the small one although it wasnt a supersoaker.

Mind you at school we used to get bottled drinks and pierce the lids. Nothing like soaking someone with 40% fanta 60% warm water mixture. :D

Its stupid! :irked:

When it's dark, you can mistake just about any hand-held object for a real gun, especially if the holder is positioning it in a threatening way.

i saw on tv a while back that some guy held up some convenience stores with a comb in his pocket. Should we outlaw combs too, as they could be mistaken for a knife?

You cant compare the devistation caused by a concealed gun to a concealed knife. I'd defend myslef if someone approached my with a knife,... I'd hand over the wallet if they had a gun.

I never said anything should be outlawed...

Back on topic for me.. Water guns were cool, but they were never really my thing. I'm not much for water fights. :)

Memories...and banned toys...

When I was a kid, we used real Lawn Darts.
