Way to beat the game

This is the way to beat the game. i started off with a sprinter. did small races until i upraded it as mush as i could. i won the ms-7(i think) and upraded that as much as i could. raced the turbo oval track race. when i reached 30,000 credits i bought a mustang. the mustangs are cheap and start off wiht like 381 hp. i suped that way up and got a listens up to 1a. then i raced the 150 mile endurace race(last one). it took about a hour and 12 minutes. i won 200,000 dollars. pay close attention to this part. you can win one of four cars. the bottom car is a formula 1 car, F090. the white ring will go around the car and when u see the outline for the formula 1 car, hit X a lot of times but stop when it goes over the next car. the cars arent randomly picked. if u didnt get the car, tough luck! if you did, u have one of the best cars in the game. you can enter all the country races(european, japan, but not us). this car is unbeatable.
 
There has been much disscusion over whether the cars you win are randomly selected and I think most of the "tricks" to getting the car you want have been debunked and in fact I think SCE has even verified that, correct?

I haven't heard about the debunking, but I've often wondered. It seems when I enter an overkill car in a series, I tend to get the crappiest reward car. You can select your car when they're rotating though - I've done it several times. Just hit X when the silouet of the car you want is right at the bottom.

In an interview with the developer, he said that the prize cars are completely random with no trick to picking your car. Any coincidence is purely coincidence. Check this out!
