I think a lot of us thought the cars nominated for each poll would be very close in style. I didn't mind the supercar poll, IMO, but a minivan, an econo-sedan and a sports coupe are wildly different. I understand your goal and how you're going about it now, but I admit I was thinking more along the lines of the "would you rather" thread in terms of the cars being very similar than random number generator type groupings. It's called a random number generator. How was I supposed to group the supercars, then? The McLaren, Viper, and Radical were the highest-performing cars nominated. No matter what I do, somebody whines about it. It won't matter anyway because the best car will always get the most votes, and win in the end. We have to narrow it down first so that cars aren't overlooked.
Some cars nominated really are better than others- there's no "fairness" to it. We are trying to decide the best.
Do you really think it's appropriate to call anyone an idiot? If you've ever been in a VW Touran, you'll appreciate why it's the best car in the world. If you haven't, then your an idiot who needs to move to Somerset.
