Weather Change at Le Mans (La Sarthe) 2009?!

I played a demo of GT5 at my local GameXchange a couple weeks back. I picked Arcade and "Le Mans Change Time". Now I noticed it was raining heavily - but this option does not appear to be in the game itself that I know of. Is it an unlockable track? Bug, Glitch, or maybe just something for the demo?

In light of the on-line Nurburgring 24 hour snow vid... I wonderr if it was a similar thing? Thing is, I am sure it said it "Circuit La Sarthe 2009 change time / weather".
 
There is a Circuit de La Sarthe Change Time / Weather Change in online mode that allows time progression and sunny or rain weather.


Might I add, racing that track at night is a blast, same with the 24h Nurburgring.

I love racing it at night, but I don't get that the demo game had OFF-LINE WEATHER CHANGE? And my bought version does ? :indiff:
 
In the Dream Car Championship in Extreme, it's raining at La Sarthe quite often. And if you do the first 24 hour endurance race, you'll get the whole day/night/day cycle.

I mean as in the shop had a normal version of GT5, and were allowing people to play it. This was in Arcade Mode... That's what puzzles me...
 
Yes it's a normal track in the game, but I believe you do have to unlock it. Same with Nurburgring.
 
Does the weather actually change? I'm doing the bspec 24hr right now (first time doing it) and its been raining the whole race (18hrs into it now).
 
Yup, you're just unlucky... I will fear for my Bobb to drive in the rain :nervous:
