Weather in GT Mode

Just wondering if any races in GT/career mode have weather like rain in them? I know weather and day/night are only applicable to certain tracks but havent seen any rain so far. Do you have to select a rain affected race somehow before race start or does it happen randomly?

There are some races in the extreme tier that take place in tracks with weather, like the Dream Car Championship, but you can't choose the weather, it's like choosing nurb 24h with weather in arcade mode but never touch the course settings, the game will randomly throw you something, rain, fog, sunny, etc.

Thankyou. I thought random weather was actually part of the game and thought I was missing something when I hadnt encountered it yet. Im doing the extreme tier at the moment so should find some rain sooner or later.

Suzuka in Super GT, Monza and Suzuka in the FGT Championship, and Monza and the Nurb 24 Hours in Dream Cars all have weather change, but like Mike said above, the weather is always random.

Also, the endurance 24h races have weather

Keep in mind that not all tracks have weather. Generally speaking, if you find a race on a track with weather change, then that race will have rain.

Sprinklers! If Bernie was gonna do it, why can't GT have it.

So since my first post Ive done Super GT and the Dreamcars championships. Didnt encounter rain at Suzuka in Super GT although I just did the dream cars championship and it rained at Monza, Le Mans and the Nurburgring, the Ring in the rain is freakin insane!

Thank goodness the AI is not that handy in the wet because I went off the track at the Nurburgring plenty of times and still could win by ten seconds or so.
