Hi there just a quick question, I have a Logitech Quickcam and theres a link to it in My Computer just under the hard drive and DVD rom etc.. Well Im currently experimenting with DesktopX and wanted to create a shortcut to it on my desktop. The problem is when I create a new object and choose shortcut, I go to My Computer but the camera is never there to select. I can choose anything else just not the camera. Now i realise I could select Logitechs own webcam viewing software but I find it to slow with to many features, I much prefer Windows own simple viewer. What I wanted to know is there anyway I can directly link to the Windows viewer as I open my shortcut or do I have to get a seperate piece of software? Sorry I cant really explain it better! any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

ive never messed with desktopx or know what it is but try clicking on your webcam in my computer and seeing if there is anyway to create a shortcut.

A possible reason why your webcam is showing up in your devices in my computer is because it may have storage capability of some sort?
There is a small little webcam program that is really basic but very effective that can be shortcut to your desktop, I had it running my PS2 eyetoy with ease 👍
Here's a link ... try it out!
