Week 101: RCNG-101 Beginner's Racing

Welcome to Class Students!​

To start we will use a well balanced Front engine, Rear wheel drive sports car on a street course.
​

The Car: Arcade A-Class RX7 Type RZ (TCS & ASM Optional)

The Track: Special Stage Route 5 (forward)

The Race: Arcade Mode: Free Run: Best Lap

The Rules:

1. You must have 2 tires on the track at all times.
2. The rumble strips are considered part of the track.
3. No wall riding or touching.
4. No short cutting.
5. No hybrids
6. No cheating of any kind.
7. Save Your Submitted Lap Replay

Time Discussion: All "T" Times.

The deadline: All Times Due before 00.00hrs Central Standard Time (New Orleans, Louisiana, America), Tuesday the 1st. (Same as 06.00hrs London. Tuesday the 1st.)

Is this frowned upon? I'm trying to take that line but I can't get it quite right, I keep trying to get to the left a bit more but I always break traction. Would that line be acceptable, because it's on the best lap I've done so far. Opinions?

That is legal and acceptable, but if you personally feel that is some advantage then don’t rely on the rumble as much. It’s entirely up to you how you run your laps so longs as you meet the 2 wheel no contact rules

We won’t place you on a whipping post for it!

I felt bad in week 100 for knocking over a cone

Saw a 35.99x, but when it flashed up on the screen it broke my concentration and I missed the next apex.

There's a long time since I was in school/college/university (finished in '94) and we've different ways of naming courses here in France.
