Congradulations to all finishers. This race was a rather hard one to complete without frustration. Sorry about that, next week should be better.

My time was an unknown really, don't have it on hand and don't plan on loading a replay... I just wanted to let every one know that this race was a hard one and keeping under 2'50.000 is a good run. Just staying clean was hard in this one.

Please post any replays for the race in this thread.
Anyway, catch you guys in week 57.

Congratulations to all who participated. 👍

daan's theoretical best is: 2:41.556? Smokin'. :)
Did KOTS5 help? Apparently. :D
Lap times? Submitted and best individual race laps.

My theoretical best is: 2:41.934.
1:24.259
1:17.675

My submitted laps:
1:24.691

Nice win, ODP. My laps were 1:25.138 and 1:18.622. Lots of tire smoke happening all over the place. Reminded me of watching some of the BCv2 replays of the 900hp Penzoil Nismo at Deep Forest.

Good running everybody in their respective classes. I know how
much effort drivers had to put in to get good clean fast laps in.....so I'll give credit to you all.

The best I could muster for a 'clean' entry were:

Lap 1 = 1:25.438
Lap 2 = 1:18.786

In my class, I suspected DePlace had it covered, Daan made a real good run at him....and GT3Mich also worked his way up the board. So Congradulations to them for finding that little extra speed.

I knew I was 2 seconds off the pace, but I didn't have the time to close in on those final adjustments in set-up and driving style that would make the difference.

My best lap times were 1:18. 1's, best T1's 35.5's, and best T2's were 1:02.5's but I always felt off balance when it came to the Race Time.

The competition is tough....we'll take the fight to the next track.....revenge is brewing!

:irked: :D

congrats HareTurtle!!!!!

Wow...a podium in Div 2, feels sweeter than winning Div 3....the most painful part is that i thought I had about another second to lump off...but shoulda, woulda, coulda, right? Getting home form work at 2am doesn't help with PS2 time much...haha.

I'll hook the xport up and get a replay up tonight since this one is such a touchy wall race (never did like the tokyo circuit much)....

I though Div 1 winning times would be around 2'46.xxx...so seeing 2'42.xxxs is just insane...

My best lap in free run was 1'19.329, best lap in the race was 1'20.217 and best first lap was 1'27.183...

The other big deal for me this week was I tuned/setup the car myself, using what I learned from previous weeks. Thats a huge step for me to accurately diagnose and tune out issues with the car. The biggest issue with this car was it's desire to understeer (or push) through high speed corners, my final solution to get rid of it was to max out front downforce but adjust the rear enough to put a bias on the nose without over correcting and getitng massive oversteerwhich at these speeds sends you stright to the wall..

congrats to all the rces who stuck with this one!

Congrats ODP. I knew you had it in the bag, but I didn't expect to be that high up.

Nah, it didn't really help. Tokyo II is my favourite track and I found a setup I liked (knicked from Zer0h's Denso.)

1'24.579 - 1'18.477 - 2'43.056

Best outlap was 1'23.9xx
best flying lap in free run was 1'17.4xx
(although the 17.4 has a wall brush that cost me 1kmh so I can't even submit that to RL or GT3Times  )

Just couldn't put them together.

Well, a slightly frustrating week having to string together two clean laps, with so many walls waiting to be touched. My submitted laps were 1:27.879 and 1:21.226. Of the laps I recorded (improved clean races only), that was my best start lap and second best flying lap (1:20.830).

Congrats to all the podium finishers, especially Scuderia, wasting no time making a dent in Div. 2. ;)

Great car to drive and well suited to the track, but this one might have worked better as a "hot lap". At least the long straight got the AI out of the way before the first turn.
