Well done racers!

A great turn out in div 1, in fact, the total number of div 1 racers equals the numbers of div 2 & 3 combined.

Now about those racers...
Unified takes the overall win with a great time.
HighonPSI takes the division 2 win.
WSSSUP takes the divsion 3 win.

Of course, Famine takes the speed 12 division win. ;)
And of course, we can't forget heero 12 taking the MR-S division win.

The racing was very close this week... only .4* seconds dividing most of division 1. 👍

Some great times, and I'm sure there will be plenty of replays for everyone to learn from. :trouble:

Now about those results...
Division 1
1'21.102 unified 787b
1'21.303 UB57 787b
1'21.320 GT3mich 787b
1'21.421 CarbonFiber Man 787b
1'21.478 cinjun8 787b
1'21.551 GoKents 787b
1'22.851 ScuderiaFerrari 787b
1'24.871 daan R390
1'30.734 Famine Speed 12

Division 2
1'22.033 HighonPSI 787b
1'23.576 Viper_Maniac 787b
1'23.694 HareTurtle 787b
1'23.775 flat-out
1'24.713 reddog78 GT-One

Division 3
1'22.894 WSSSUP
1'25.544 boone_501 787b
1'26.004 Darin 787b
1'43.131 heero 12 Super Autobacs Apex MR-S

Personally, I am content with running .4* off the leader in a week like this, so that should just go to show that I respect all those that managed to get in front of me.

Please post any replays in this thread, and any anaylzer data for that matter.

Hope you all had fun with this week's race, we will probably do one similar to it in a week or two... until then, bye. :D

W00t my first second place finish. Awesome. Wish I did a few more runs in the 787B and I might have gotten first. :( Oh well. Maybe next time. ;)

YAY! I got a win of some form! I was the only racer in the division? Oh well, a win's a win, and it was fun. Thanks for the mention Kent, it makes me feel important, not that I am, I'd still be where I am in the standings even in a 787, but when I go down, I go down in a blaze of glory!

For all the 0 people who downloaded the replay I posted last week, here is this week's replay. The time is even worse :D
Hope I'll do better in week 67 (I didn't take a look at what's proposed yet).

Darn. I forgot to turn my lap in before I left for work this morning. Well, just to toss it in the non-valid hat:

1'22.099 with a 787B

Nice runs everyone.:) Bumped off the podium dammit:irked:
I know I could have broken into the 1.20's with more runs but I was lacking motivation for GT3 all week. Maybe I'll work on it again someday...

P.S> Nice job UB you whooped me fair and square:O

Thanx CFM! 👍
:D Six drivers within .400!!!   Should be great fun to view two replays at a time w/analyzer. Will be interesting to see who's quickest in which sectors.
Good Luck ALL with this week's challenge. I've volunteered to run the concession stand at a Four Day Radio Controlled Car Race this weekend & I suck w/FF Rides anyway so I'll see Y'All in week 68!...UB57 :D

Congrats to all the podiums.

@Kent.

What's up with WSSSUP?. He's listed as a division 2 racer, and clearly submitting a division 2 time. Kind of scary company in 3'rd division. :scared:

How about what's up with you being concerned over a race you didn't take part in?

Just kidding with you. ;)

As for wsssup, I think him and I are going to have a chat when I get the chance...

He asked for the div 3 demotion on the premise that he was out of practice and in need of a demotion so he could be competitive.

However, wsssup clearly ran a div 2 time, so pending on his participation and constitancy in that participation, there may be a renewal of his original status.

Don't know exactly what will happen as of right now, but things will be worked out.

Anyway, glad you guys had fun with this race, hope to see you all again in next week's... of course, ff is not very cool to many of you, so maybe week 68.

Still though, it would be nice to see you all put in efforts with the ff cars as well, so I guess I'm just gonna have to wait and see. :D

Till then,
...

You know, with the list of xport racers I saw in those results, and with the number of them that beat me, I am suprised there are not any replays posted besides the 1 by ub. (flat out got one up too. ;) )

But yeah, I think you all get it.
Btw, 2 people downloaded my replay and I came in near last in my division, so... :odd:
Um yeah... :D

Well until next time,
-

Nice. :D

Thanks bud, way to set the pace for everyone else. ;)

btw, you had a good lap, what sort of splits were you running.

Any sort of insights about the race?

And thanks, I thought there would be plenty to like the race but just didn't like it that much myself.
Who would think I actually put this lap on tokyo because I dislike that course and arcade cars? :p

Anyway, Im out,
later.

I was running 11.6's and 44.9's all week and was ready to submit a 1'21.520 but decided to give it one more run like the week before and shaved off a tiny bit of time. I'm happy with my run. Not sure if I can do next weeks race. I'm moving my race set-up and computer to a different room so I'll try for the week after.

No problem dude, you've been getting in a a few races over the past few weeks, so I appreciate that, just as I do with all those that participate. 👍

As for your race story...
Same boat all the way. Totally.
I was really pissed too because I lost my copy of gt3 on sunday night, so I couldn't put down any more laps when I really was ready to nail the 44.6 I was waiting for.

And for that matter, I saw a bunch of 44.6s and yet I could never put a 44.6 down with a clean or fast final section. :bangshead:

Man that was aggrevating, and honestly, I was suprised I kept up (if you could say that).
I mean, with as many 44.6 runs as I had, I was sure that someone was gonna turn in a last second 44.4 with an amazing final time.

Actually, I was kinda suprised that no one beat the record for this combo, but then again, we didn't see a lot of the people I would expect to see in an arcade run like this, so oh well. :indiff:

Replay which has been downloaded 3 times already. I swear I didn't download it myself :D, but I wonder who was interested in it

Good race guys.....

I was using the 787b... forgot to put that in my pm to Gokents.

I was a division 2 racer when i started awhile back...more like 1 year ago.....
I havnt played gt3 for that whole period, until i found this site again and wanted to get back into the racing... So i asked Gokents to put me in division 3, as i seriously thought i didnt have the good for division 2.....

Doesnt bother me where i get put... im just happy to be munging on gt3 again..... and excited about picking up GT4 Prologue this week...wooooo..

Great racing guys....
Another q... what do i need to get to be able to save replays? I guess its prolly not worth it but as im on a pal machine...

Cheers

Hiya WSSSUP: 👍
:D What you need is an "X-Port." It consists of two DVDS & a Cable & is without a doubt the most worthwhile accessory you can have for GT3 IMO! ( I just scored a spare one on e-bay for US $10.00) Not only can you "Share" replays w/other PAL users you can also glean set-up info from NTSC users (Although you can't "View" our replays) not to mention the whole new world MK's software will open up for you. In a word: "Get One" you won't regret it!!!...UB57 :D

Hey UB57

Any links to some pics of the setup so i know what im looking for....
Appreciate the info bud.... definately after one... hopefully can pick up one in my neck of the world.

Update: Just found it on ebay...... having no luck trying to find one in Australia, might just do the american ebay thing....

Are there many pal users on here using the X-port thingy?

Hi again WSSSUP: 👍
:D Have attached a foto (From the e-bay listing) of the box. (They're called "Sharkport" here.) See you've already found one while I was searching for a foto...Good!

Just took my own advice from Post #8 & loaded GT3mich's replay along w/mine into the analyzer. What a "Gas"!!! I get him a little "here & there" thru most sectors then he gets back OVER 2/10s in one VERY Short sector!!! :irked: Guess I need to put some more work into that turn eh??? :banghead:
THANX for posting your replay GT3mich!...UB57 :D

PS: Thought I'd add our sector times for those w/out download capabilities...

Some do, yes (but not the fastest people as far as I know).
The only problem is that Sharkport (NTSC US) and X-port (PAL) file formats are not compatible. You can edit both of them in MK's to look at the parts and settings of cars, but you can't watch a PAL replay on a NTSC machine and vice versa. Pity...
Anyway, I paid my X-port 24 € (that's around 24 USD) and don't regret it.

Mr P is one of the fastest in GT3 and he is a PAL driver so it is well worth the money. He posts his runs up for download all the time.
How do you think I got to be so good at Rally driving? Watching some of Mr P's NTSC replays.
