The Car: Arcade S-Class Vertigo (no tcs or asm requirements)

The Track: Cote D' Azur

The Race: Arcade Mode: Free Run: Best Single Lap Time

The Rules:

1. You must have 2 tires on the track at all times.
2. The rumble strips are considered part of the track.
3. No wall riding or touching.
4. No cutting the grass or short cutting.
5. No hybrids
6. No cheating of any kind.

Time Discussion: All "T" Times.

The deadline: All Times Due before 00.00hrs Central Standard Time (New Orleans, Louisiana, America), Tuesday the 29th. (Same as 06.00hrs London. Tuesday the 29th.)

Just as a side note:
I want to let you all know that the arcade car is a direct result of another week cut short, hence, I will not put the burden of tuning on the individual.

Yeah it seems so - It should be a good race, like you said its nice and light and should be a good challenge around monte, and its not too powerful so should be a ncie drive.

damnit...my favorite circuit in GT3 and one of my fav cars....gotta be a damn arcade car though...blah. I'll break my own rule and run this one because I love the combo. Why or why couldn't have this been the SIM car though!

Yea, Monaco is a great track. Lots-o-fun. And its it one of the most used cars I ever use. I'm gonna be running my out most best.

Regarding tcs and asm.

I don't know how to say it much more blatently but I will try.

You can run with tcs on or off, same goes for asm.

I haven't run this track since I had to pass the license test 3 years ago.

I'll give it a go, but I doubt I'll do any good here as I'm starting from ground zero.

One thing is for sure, I'll be checking my replay very carefully.

Any splits would be appreciated as I have no clue where I should be here. TIA!

I'm gonna give this race a go. I love Monaco, and it should be a great challenge. As for the Vertigo, I've only driven it for a handful of miles, but I enjoyed driving it. Should be a good race!

I ran some laps for 20 minutes, and here' s what I could come up with.

S1: 24.479
S2: 1:06.791

The lap is far from clean, and I was talking on the phone at the time, so I was not concentrating as hard as I would have liked to have been.

T2 1'06.743

Did my first set of 20-30 laps last night.
Best lap had T1 of 25.171 and T2 of 1:07.6.
Pretty crappy lap as I'm just learning the track. Has 2 small wall touches in weird places (like straightaways).

You must be my twin, just on the other side of the pond! I had to do the same. You seem to have gotten all the good GT3 driving genes though.

CFM's garage has everything unlocked for the NTSC users btw. 👍

Hmmm.. I'm not a big fan of this car, i think i've only ran it one other time. But Monaco is definitely one of my favorite tracks. So far, after about a 20 min session im down to a T1 of '24.062 and a 1'04.621 T2. Not too bad, but LOTS of room for improvement. Good combo Kents 👍

I'd laugh and poke fun at you except I haven't run a single 100% clean lap yet. When I do, it will probably be slower than that.....LOL.

My meager attempts to control the wheelspin in this Monte Carlo pocket rocket have failed, so I've elected to shove on the TCS. It's a short week for me, not much time to practise (it's my excuse anyway ). Besides I'm still shell-shocked over last weeks race!

Thrown this baby around for about an hour and have a good save in the bag. But doubtful whether I'll get time to improve on this until Monday night

Hi Guys:
GREAT combo GoKents! 👍 Don't think we've run the Vertigo since very early in the WRS. WAS feeling pretty good about running 24.349 / 1'05.764 on my 3rd Lap until I looked up the page at unified's 24.062 / 1'04.621
Guess I'd better put in some more Laps on this one!!!...UB57
