First off,
Sorry everyone, I didn't have time for proper testing so a multi-lap race will have to wait for next week. :crazy: :grumpy: :ouch:

Now for week 86! :dopey:

The Car: Arcade Zonda Race Car (tcs & asm Optional)

The Track: Trial Mountian

The Race: Hotlap (arcade mode free run)

The Rules:
1. You must have 2 tires on the track at all times.
2. The rumble strips are considered part of the track.
3. No wall riding or touching.
4. No cutting the grass or short cutting.
5. No hybrids
6. No cheating of any kind.
7. Save Your Submitted Lap Replay

Time Discussion: All "T" Times.

The deadline: All Times Due before 00.00hrs Central Standard Time (New Orleans, Louisiana, America), Tuesday the 19th. (Same as 06.00hrs London. Tuesday the 19th.)

Send all final times via PM to Me. (GoKents)
Remember to include your division.

The most underrated car in the game.....the Zonda is a LOT better car than what is modeled in the game.

With that said, this ought to be a fun run.
 
It should be a interesting week . Trial Mountain with the zonda well i believe it could have been worse, but its gonna take some time because the zonda is not easy to drive especially at trial mountain

We used to be extremely close (on granturismo.de) K2 and I, both on GT Concept and GT4 Prologue licences times, so I guess we've just welcome another close competitor among us.

Thanks! Actually it was a good job but the company is transferred to poland and I am not willing to move from Belgium to Poland.

On topic:

I am following the WRS+div2 races for quite some time now and are obviously not putting enough time in yet....I cannot put up with your pace yet. Indeed i know I should, our times on the other series are close enough
 
Just did a few laps, and I really like the combo. Best T3 58.257. I'm thinkin 56's are in view.

Nice combo 👍 using TCS best save has T3 of 56.124 .... lost a bit at the end though :indiff:

Div 1 come out of the pit early this week it seems.

Anyway, here is my best clean save after 6 laps:
T1 = 14.939
T2 = 33.432
T3 = 59.089

I saw clean 14.2 and 14.4 so there's plenty to expect from the 3 evenings I have left (I'll have to submit friday evening).

Scary combo, but great fun. :D

I ran 5 laps just to put my name up on the board and somehow hit a few key parts just right to put in a pretty good lap. Surprised myself even :D

@k2racer, check your t times again, there seems to be a typo. ;)
 
Here's my final sectors from my save that's been submitted
13.778 / 31.363 / 56.019 .. as my racing for this week is over now until Saturday :trouble:

Did I mention? that me and Kel are going to London on Saturday for an I-link with Daan and Famine and a few other racers 👍 should be pretty cool :) we are a wee bit nervous .... but should be ok after the introductions are over :D

Did a few more laps, a lot of improvement but nothing clean yet. I've seen a few low 57's. Blew a 37.8 T1 in the next turn. This is the first weekly race in a while that has been a fun race for me.

This is one of my favorite combos in GT3... I will have to race (and maybe put forth a little more effort... :D)
 
Gah, this is not my favorite combo. I didn't ee that it is a race car! If only it were a stock C12S....

anyway, my first clean lap is 14.3/33.0/59.0. That's enough tonight. I'm satisfied!
 
Just had a lap or two to get things going for my entry:

Should be a bit to come I think. Especially as I plan to try TCS (hey,if its good enough for Mr P,its good enough for me!)

There a typo in your leaderboard : I'm at 59.089, not at 59.809
(You wish you were 2 seconds faster than me, and not 0.001 ;) )

BTW, After 6 more laps yesterday I'm now at :
T1 = 14.642
T2 = 33.173
T3 = 58.288

Just checking in on the ole' WRS. Interesting combo there GoKents. I like the Zonda race alot, even in arcade flavor. I'll try to find time for this one, but don't hold your breath (I realize I say that every time I am here).

This one could be fun!

I'm not as fast at I-links as I am with hotlap racing in the house thats for sure as I found out at the Rai centre last year ;) but all the same! .... I reckon I can give them a good run for their money :D just hoping it's a good event like the one we had :cheers: and an added bonus of course is that the local delicacy wont be Bob Marleys favourite passtime and my racing will be sharper through non blurred eyes :lol:
