*I would like to remind everyone that we need to keep those laps on record... Data or the actual replay may be requested from time to time, and of course... Rules are rules (see final rule of each week's rules). ;)

Now I would like to make a personal note.
I would like to thank all of you who are consistantly giving your time and efforts to the gtp and the wrs.
There are some of you who don't win every week or aren't the fastest on the track, but none the less, you put in time and effort like everyone else... You add to the atmosphere of the board and you contribute a great deal to the overall quality of this series, so I thank you... Thanks!

I appreciate everything that all of you do... Fast or slow, you are all fellow racers to me. (and of course) Thanks again for your support.

Later. :sly:

No submission from Tomski or Tannis

Oh well, better for me! ;)

Nice runs everyone, the whole leaderboard is very close ... 1.000 seperating the first 7 finishers.

I'll post my replay tonight.

I believe that the WRS is successful not only thanks to the racers but mainly thanks to the guy in charge.
1) there is no request to race week after week : racers can skip several weeks in a row there are still warmly welcome when they're back ;
2) the combos are well balanced and cover a wide panel of cars and tracks. Whether you prefer arcade or tuned cars, FF or MR, race or road, japanese or not, technical or flowing tracks, tarmac or dirt : there will always be something you like soon.
That makes people join and stay with us.

BTW, I've been a pretty bad racer since my victory back in week 84 (Apricot Hill), but I'll have more time this week (some days off and I've finished Champions of Norrath) and I'll try to run a decent lap in the Ruf.

Here's my replay for this week, in case anybody wants to check that I'm really 1 second slower than anyone else

Well i tought that would finish tomorrow.
Btw, if that interests someone, i got a 1'17.3 ...

Congrats to Luxy on the winning time and to tuff240 for having a division 1 time even though he's in division 2. 👍

Wow, I didn't expect to come 2nd. Considering I hardly put any time in to this one I'm very happy... I can thank UB57 and one of his 15 lappers for my knowledge of this track.

I know all about missing races! :) The WRS on gtplanet has a great atmosphere about it. Thanks to GoKents for organising the races and to tuff240 for updating the leaderboard with the split times each week. Makes it more interesting and exciting.

See you all next race.

I sent my time but it was for a different combo altogether  1'18.405 was my time 👍

Congrats to Luxy, tuff and Don Mejillone for their division wins.

Thanks for the nice words, Kent. 👍 And thanks to Cyril for answering them. 👍 You're both very right. :D

Looks like I've the got the fastest PAL replay this week (well at least for the given combo  ), so here it is:

Congratulations to Luxy, to Tuff and to Don Mejillone for their wins.
Fast lap Luxy, very good indeed.

GoKents, i now exacly what you´ve just said. My time in the week whit the Camaro was one second slower that everyone else, but i send it anyway because it was real challenging and just completing the lap was already good for me.
Hope this time i can get a better place than 6 like in my first two weeks i think.

Hmmm, the complete div3 is faster than me...

That deserves a truly deserved congratulations to them 👍

I am new, not winning and not the fastest on the track, so GoKents, you're welcome. :)

But, as flat-out stated so correctly:

Thank you for your weekly efforts, GoKents 👍

Well Done Luxy!!!

Nice run, pity all three (two of which you confirmed) of my 1:18.0's had touches(the other one was even on second to last corner, the left sleeper... on the INSIDE!!!), one I even babied around the second left before the T2... oh well if only there was more time... there'd be more frustration!!!

I had plenty of 1:18.1's and 18.2's all with silly touches and I lost my quickest clean through a nOOb mistake... oh well, turns out time was reasonably competitive...

I'm glad we're away from walls this week!!! I'm sick of putting 18.3's & 18.4's T1's (one was even 18.29x) into walls... so this week I just have grass verges instead!!!

GoKents, people play because a 'certain' participation level isn't required, it's still fun and has variety, for the most part with machinery at tracks they themselves wouldn't drive naturally???

I take it I'm now Div I??? Last week was Div II... (Am I on cusp???) Either way I'm not too fussed, quicker this week cause I prefer Arcade to Tuned, lol, less work, just get in a drive, all about lines then...

Well done to all that had the time to run or had the time to run and submit (hint hint Tomski & Tannis ;) ), see you in Wk90, after I see if I've got enough to purchase the machiney (I didn't play GT3, it's a friends saved info, lol)...

Another week gone by.
Thank you for the kind words,Kent. Good to be here!

Congrats to the winners 👍
It was again very close (why mostly me) :)

PC problems,replay follows later.

Told you it was a nice lap Luxy. ;)
Nice close racing in D3 guys! 👍

@Kent,
I had hellnback listed as a Division 2 racer all week and I really thought it was a close race between him and me. Maybe we should both end up in D1. :scared:
D2 is a little packed the last few weeks and I don't mind fighting it out for last place in D1 again for a while, just means I'll have to try harder. :sly:

@hellnback,
Did you submit your division with your time?

My NTSC replay:

^ I think tuff would be some worthly competition for me in D1. Looking forward to your promotion (if it comes).

Tannis
Well i tought that would finish tomorrow.

Sorry T,
Just an odd schedule we have kept with since week 1.
Gives the entire weekend and most of the week to each race... All times due before tuesday my time.

Good luck with it next time. 👍

Also, Big thanks to all those who have had kind words for me.
I appreciate it greatly and can't wait to get back into the mix after bc4 is over. :D

Thanks for the compliments. :D

Just got done talking to Kent, it's official, I'm in D1. :scared:

Looking forward to chasing all you D1 guys around. 👍

I never could get a satisfactory time. I think there was another .5 for me. I mostly found the suspension to be annoying. It seemed to tighten up too much in some of the corners for my taste. I think my best time was 1:19.133

tuff240
@hellnback,
Did you submit your division with your time?

No, I don't think I did, my bad. I was Div II last week and just thought it'd be the same...

Div I or Div II, it really don't matter, either or...

Well I'll encourage you to run in D1. Icemanshooter23, HighonPSI, Luxy, you and me could all have some nice battles as we all seem to be fairly close depending on the combo.

Thanks for the compliments. :D

Well said that man! 👍

I think it says a lot, that some of us, even if we're miles & miles away from GT3 and can't submit a time for a couple of weeks are still checking out the WRS forum to see how everyone else is getting on, and what combos we're missing out on, just to make us  with envy! Keep it up Kent! :)

Oh well, I'll be back for my warm welcome (and subsequent thrashing) on Sunday evening, fully jetlagged and with just a few hours of practice to acquire, tune & break in a 3400 for week 90! Looking forward to it already!!! :scared:

Thanks for the kind words, everyone :D

Here's my replay for this week (maybe daan'll make it into a video! :scared: )

I have the replay here and Ron will make an mpeg of it later on tonight

Congrats on your first win Luxy! 👍

Congrats Luxy! You deserve the win. 👍

I had a really bad week not even to mention what's $#%& is going on in Holland right now..

I had some laps last week, but my only saved replay of 1'17.602 might have a touch before the T1 split on the right side. The analyzer shows a drop of 1 km/h for less than a second.

Anyway here it it for those who might want to view it anyway:

I had a few probs getting my chipped PS2 to load the NTSC GT3 cdr disc, but eventually after a couple of hours of attempts we get there 👍

@David ... if you catch me on msn later today I can transfer the stuff you require, seeing as you will be hosting it and to save it being posted twice 👍 just gimme a shout mate and I'll send it your way.

@Luxy ... very nice steady lap mate ;)
