Actually on closer inspection there was a Impreza LM (no FTO LM :( ), with 124km on it in the garage... is anyone able to give what the default settings were for the car??? Ride height, gear box etc etc, no doubt the person changed the settings...

Any help appreciated...

Also I got it at 965hp, that correct???

EDIT: First tentantive steps... it's abit OTT!!!

You can change back to default settings by going to "Change Parts" and double clicking on the part you want back to default.

I have 966hp on my FTO and 1002hp on my Altezza.

1001hp in your Altezza huh??? Hope you don't nail a good lap with that, it's not one of the cars...

This my first rally WRS, and I'm guessing it's abit like the city WRS's, as in stay of the banks/walls???

Since nobody is posting times, I'll be the guinea pig, put some times up that won't scare people away...

I've only got the Impreza but here are the times after first session...

T1 - 7.095 (best 6.850)
T2 - 22.185 (best 21.999)
T3 - 39.147

That's quickest run thus far and a clean run too... solid base to start with...

 Oops! I thought it said Altezza and FTO, my bad.

I ran the FTO a little bit. My PS2 was already off, so I just added numbers I could remember. I'll get the complete numbers tomorrow.

Leaderboard is up, just need more people on it. :dopey:

FTO or Impreza LM ?
Since at Team Mini we're busy running on Smokey (forward) in a 85hp Mini, that'll be a big change :scared:

Very fun combo, Kent. 👍

After first session I'm at:

6.603
20.676
36.694

Terrible last corner as I drove extremely safe to keep it clean. :dopey: Thank God, we're only hot-lapping

Edit: In the FTO.

Nice time there Niels. 👍

I added the t times from my replay and your time as well.
Looks like I have some work to do. :scared:

Nice times indeed Niels.
Are you trying to be the next one promoted up to first division ?

After 42 km in the Impreza, my best clean save says :
T1 = 6.751
T2 = 21.861
T3 = 39.451

I'll be away from home for the rest of the week, so next practice session (and leaderboard update for week 90) will be for Friday night.
See you.

I need a flight yoke for this... need the Force to keep the car attached to the ground...

Times I placed, in the Impreza, are such

T1 - 7.064
T2 - 22.738
T3 - 39.747

Anyone have any advice on how to keep the car attached to the road a bit... I'm finding myself slowing down to just to stay attached... >_> where I coudl probably take some things fast if I could find a better line with less air... like the first turn...

After doing a few runs I can really see what a good lap Niels must have had. Best so far is 37.6. That last turn can mean literally seconds to your final time.

Yeah, I know... and I can't find the optimal line thru it either... seems like dumb luck :dunce:

On the side, how long does it take for Gokents to reply to an app for the weekly racing series?? Just wondering, cause well, I want to be a part of it for reals...

He's got a lot going on so it might take him a while, but I'm sure it will be sometime before the end of this race. Just keep running it and I'm sure he'll get back soon enough.

This is really tough my fastest clean run T3 is something like 44."" and this is with the Subie...i'll need to practice alot more in oreder to even come close to a top five finish

All right, not too much of rush or anything, just wondering.

BTW, what kind of placement should I expect with times like those above.... which was after 82 miles on that track... >_>

Welcome to WRS, Azuremen. You'll end up in second division. 👍 But could you please edit your qualifying time out of the above post. We're not supposed to post them in the threads.

Thanks for the nice words guys. :) I'm definitely not used to them. I'm not really the one to give out good advices, but here's what I did:

Going a little wide in the first turn didn't give me the best T1, but I was early back on the throttle carrying a lot of speed out of turn one. Letting go of the throttle early to adjust the direction of the FTO at the turns at the top of the hill. It is very important to stay tight in the last right before T2. Saves a lot of time. Off the throttle again to stay tight and grounded at the first right before going downhill.

Generally I was a lot off the throttle to secure me a clean run and staying grounded, so I could stick to the line. I was kind of surprised, when I saw my T3, and thats the reason, I slowed down to much at the last turn.
I'm only breaking at the first and last turn.

Put a few laps in the Subaru. Many of them ended before T1
T1 6.396
T2 20.428
T3 36.646
This run is faster than any of my posted DB runs so if you know where to look
you'll know how fast you'll need to go. I want to shave off another .7 and I'll be done.

Took a few quick laps this morning, just to see how badly the subaru wants to launch itself into outer space :) The week's gonna take some work.

A question though: is there a way to keep the car on the ground on the final straight (without loosing speed, of course)? That big hump puts me into a wheelie for a few seconds, which is disconcerting to think about on a really fast lap. Are you guys just letting it fly, or what?

That jump will be the least of your worries be weeks end. Just let it fly. Its the 1st right turn before T1 that will get you most of the time.

T1 doesn't seem to be the biggest problem for me (regularly between 6.5 and 6.7).
In the final straight however, the Subaru goes airborne even with maximum downforce. With the same settings the FTO stays on the track. It results in a top speed (end of straight) around 315 km/h instead of 303 for the Impreza with the same gear ratio.
I have to work on the righthander after T2 where I'm always too wide on the left and hit the border.
I had a clean 38.2 yesterday (50 km), and next practice session won't be before friday night. :guilty:

after a few laps with the impreza T1 - 6.875 T2-21.975 T3-38.750
i'm starting to get used to the track and the car.
i will improve

Surprising myself a little here....I do like the FTO!

At T3, I'm getting 36.514 to 37.xxx most times. Just spent the best part of 6 hours playing!!!!

God I'm sad! :dunce:
