Very easy wins in the first 4 events this week, actually had check difficulty was set to hard after 1st race. Only challenge came from the weather at Dragon Gardens. 2 heavy downpours scuppered my first attempt, but on the second try there was only a moderate shower, which I was able to tip-toe through, and helped save some fuel.
6-Star roulette yielded Cr.1,000,000! 😁

Got lucky with a dry race at dragon's gardens. Therefore a no stopper on hards worked perfectly in the Alfa 155. FM5 and short shift very early into the rev bar makes it work.

The car seems to be overpowered compared to the modern Gr. 4 cars though. I flew by cars on softs even on hard difficulty and I'm not especially good.

Count me in the "that was easier than expected!" club . These were like guilty pleasures picks; fun, not complicated, easy to digest and entertaining to do over and over again. Here are the designated hitters:

1) American Sunday Cup 600 - Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 '70: 589PP on Sports Soft tires; Whoever said musclecars can't turn haven't met Black Mask; he will get you at the quater mile and if you turn away he'll follow and get you again! But in here it was just a warmup round, a chance to stretch its rpm's and have fun with the other kids

2) Special Event Toyota Cruiser One Make - Toyota Cruiser FJ40V '74: 500PP on Sports Hard tires and Engine-Swapped; Even on Hard Difficulty this was wayy op yet fun nonetheless, I actually ove this reverse layout, somehow it flows better. The Cruiser can be a little loose sometimes but with a stiff frequency it can be a canyon carver, understeering be damned. Another win for the little ronin

3) Pickup Truck Race - Toyota Tundra TRD Pro '19: 610PP on Dirt Tires; Leave sanity at the door and let your inner kid who grew on GT1 and Ridge Racer and Daytona USA and Cruisin USA at the arcades have fun!!! Do I need to say more?:D

Look ma, ants!!!

4) Race Of Turbo Sportscars - Toyota MR2 GT-S '97: 659PP on Sports Soft tires; The nimble mid-engined pocket rocket still got it, this one was done for real, had a two lap fight for 2nd place with Gallo's Civic but in the end he overshoot the last corner and stayed behind. Then was a hunt for the Escort 1P and got the lead final lap and the downhill section before the last straight. Well done my Yellow Jacket!

5) WTC 700 - Alfa Romeo 155 2.5 '93: 699PP on Racing Medium tires; Another one done for real, turned very cloudy at the end of lap 3 still on 5P but by luck rain came at the end of lap 6 just when I was pitting for new tires and fuel. Had one lap of rain then it was full blast on FM1 until the end, got 1P on lap 9 and another one for the books.

Fun set or races this week, will repeat the American Sunday Cup and the WTC just to see how many cars can win on stock settings ;), got $500K from the 6* ticket

When the weekly challenges are released, I try to finish all 5 races within a week, it also gives me a chance to earn daily workout bonuses at the same time. I'm surprised that so many people rush to race all 5 races in a day.

I don't know that track on race 5, I took Jaguar XJ13 for easy win, pitted after half of race and "smartly" took IM tires because I was expecting rain and IMs to last till the end of the race, I completely lost tires on last lap and on final corner Supra managed to overtake me.. luckily for me finish was long and Jag is quick

I tend to do enough of them to get the Daily Marathon. Usually one is long enough, and three combined are too.

American Sunday Cup 600: Chevy Camaro ZL1. GT4 Build is back, easy wins as usual.
Pickup Truck Race: Ford F-150 SVT Raptor. Fun times with that, AI stupitiy almost made it unfun.
Race of Turbo Sportscars: Jaguar XJ220. Thing is completely OP.
World Touring Car 700: Aston Martin DBR9. Got Sunny weather on my attempt.
Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40V One Make: Another OP win.

Decent races this week, but they were too easy.

As usual, I try to use cars I haven't used much, or in a while.

Well below PP in this Vette, and while the Challenger was quick, he gave up once I got around him.

And a modern take of a classic racer.

This was the closest race. A Supra ran away with the lead, and didn't catch him til lap 7, when he pitted. I stayed out for 1 more lap, and cruised to an easy win.

Decent Week.
For the WTC 700, I chose a car I haven't tried for this race so it was my latest go-to for the 700. De-tuned Gr.3 Nissan. Rain was just on the map but not on the ground. I usually get a downpour with this race. Easy win by almost 40 seconds.
Turbos was also in a car I have never used for this race, FL Civic on RH. It was kinda close only because the two Bimmers were doing what they're known for, crazy driving. lol Won by 5 seconds.
Land Crusier race was in my 202hp one on SS. Too easy.
Sunday Cup was in a Vette I have never raced in. Modified on SS. Easy win by around 10 seconds.
Truck race was in my almost 700hp Ford. You know how that went. lol
Won a VGT Dodge which I already have so sold it.

Although none of the races has been especially difficult, it's by no means been a 'first attempt clean sweep' this time round. I had restricted most of my cars to what seemed reasonable for close racing ... and that's what I got.
At Dragon Trail I had already passed Yamanaka but somehow he was quicker in the pits and won by a couple seconds. So I had to run a second attempt ( on a track I don't like ;) ) to finish first.
The only race that's been actually easy was the Pickup Truck event. Sometimes I think you just can't restrict a car enough to match AI pace on gravel - they're so slow there.

Ok, here's a bit more info and some photos from my 'smashing pumpkins' :

Race 1 - Ford Mustang Boss 429 '69 / SH / 548,45 PP ✅

Race 2 - Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40V '74 / CM / 337,70 PP

Race 3 - Ford F-150 SVT Raptor '11 / D / 458,15 PP

Race 4 - Renault R8 Gordini '66 / SM / 586,20 PP

Race 5 - Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 '09 / RH / 687,25 PP

Now, since Mt. Panorama is one of my all time favorites I think I'll spend a lot of time there the next days trying different cars. Maybe something less vulnerable than the Gordini ...

For once I had the chance to do all weekly races in one sitting :)

The description said that there were some vintage muscle cars, so I took my Super Bee to Grand Valley. Didn't do any tuning before, just selected a vintage muscle car matching the 600pp limit from my garage. Had SMs equipped and a custom wing, the rest seemed to be stock. And: I had a hell of a fun race! My Bee drives like a brick, but for whatever reason I really liked it. Only thing that's a bit sad is that it's not an exclusive vintage U.S. race. Got the leading Tesla by the end of lap 2, hard difficulty:

Switched to normal difficulty for the Special event because those tend to be rather hard lately. Tuned the bunny to 400pp by just equipping RHs, racing air filter and racing exhaust. Needed two attempts to get 1st. The gearbox makes the car incredible instable on maximum revs per minute:

Ironically, the pick-up race was the only one getting me the CRB this time - and that's Colorado!

Unlike last time, I managed to win he Turbo race at 600pp/hard this time - but it was a fight! After getting 1st after 3 laps I had to defend like hell to keep the lead. Again, it was Heck in his white BMW that almost made me crazy - that car is brutally fast!

The WTC 700 was my chance to test my new Mazda Concept which I had bought myself from the credits of the last Weeklies. De-tuned to 700pp, running RHs. In lap 2 the blue Viper hit me hard after overtaking him which made me spin, I lost 12 seconds. Pit-stopped after 6 laps due to very light rain that unexpectedly slowed me down extremely and almost made me spin from the middle of lap 6. Got fuel and IMs for the rest of the race, and became 1st despite those incidents - because I had foreseen those and switched back to normal difficulty for that race ;)

Got the default 10k from the 4* daily ticket, but a poison-green F3500A from the 6* weekly ticket which I took to Tokyo for a joyride:
