I've been having fun of late racing different events in a stock F3500-A win no ABS. So when I saw the Daytona Gr.1 Prototype Series race pop up in the Weekly Challenges I knew I had to try it.

Really good challenge demanding you fuel save, look after your tires, and navigate the traffic while keeping good pace to cross the finish line in 1st with a CRB.

One of the few race events with the old AI I could repeat and get a kick out of.

Who, Sasaki?
Yep

Yeah, cheater. And it’s probably at full power, too. Had two aids on also. That boat on CH tires was killing the tires. Braking halfway down the straights.

Stock Tesla on SM tire did the trick.
Porsche Taycan, SM tire, power restrictor at 87.

Polestar, not yet.

Selection of the week:

Race 1: FIAT panda with the Integra type R swap, I've found finallly a set up that makes me feel comfortable with the swapped engine, essy win with CRB

Race 2: Mazda CX-30 fully tunned bacause why not?? I know of several "simracers purist" thst could get annoyed with this selection, but, took leadership on lap 3 and CRB

Mission 3: The return of s classic mission, got gold at the first try😄

Race 4: I took the AM Vantage 2018 on stock form, I got closer to the Xiaomi on the downhill sector after the Karrousell but the gap increased on the long straight, P2, enough to get the check

Race 5: The most challenging race this week, using the 2016 Audi R18, as you can see in the screenshot below I won for barely 1 second against P2

Race 1: Got 3rd. Still have no idea how to beat those events at 400pp. Might be wrong car, wrong setup or - more likely - insufficient skills:

2: This one went better. Lexus always does the job at 550pp.

3: One of those missions where even I get gold pretty easily. Needed 2 attempts because I touched an opponent first, though.

4: Oh my... Nordschleife! Never easy for me. Would have ended 2nd unless the SU7 crashed into me from behind and made me spin on the long stretch. I guess the recommendation to get better here is (as always) just practice, practice, practice... :

5: Wanted to go "real" Gr. 1, so I took the LM55 Gr. 1 version. Got 2nd with P1 being 10 secs ahead. GT7 says my best position once has been P1 at this event, but it's a shame that there's no info with what car and what difficulty setting I did it before:

Rewards: 4* daily -> 10'000C ; 6* weekly -> 500'000C ; but another 4* daily indeed gave me this "Bull" !!!!!!! :)

You can make money on your tunes, just ask Priaino how he does it...🤣
Getting this straight.

1. Not gonna make money on something that is already readily accessible to begin with.

2. Tunes are subjective. What works for me does not automatically work on everyone. At the end of the day, driving does most of the work.

Now you know why I rarely share tunes.

Well I finally finished the this week's challenge thanks to @RCKakashi14's Hiace tune. I have tried various cars but it was either too slow or handling was garbage for me. ( Mind you I have not ever in my GT life not run off the track or spin out at the 'Ring) That tune fit my driving style perfectly. I don't have a fancy job just painted it blue. So I call it my dad van. When you look at it, it's normal family van but if you try to drag race against it from stoplight to stoplight it will bring the smoke!

The main thing I love about the van unlike some of the other cars nobody was going to body it and spin it out. I was the one bodying cars and sending them off track :)
I had already did the mission and got silver. I tried to get gold but I kept getting distracted so I left it at that. Next I went to Daytona. I decided to use the Nissan GT1 race car. At first I was getting dusted. I was like 18 seconds behind last place. Then I realized I was using my 800 pp tune. So I quit and switched to my 920 pp tune. It was excellent very fast. But for some odd reason I spinout twice while up against the wall. I think I made too many adjustments. EVen with that I was going to take 3rd place or maybe 2nd but some odd reason I forgot that before you leave the infield section of the track there's a curve that you have to slow down for and if not you end up in the tire barricade. So that's where I ended up on lap 10 and I quit again. This time I grabbed Godzilla the LM55. I was able to do a no stopper and win very easily.

For the last race I used the Hiace again since I loved using it so much at the Ring

While I call it a dad van it does give ff undercover cop van that you see in the movies that is used for stakeouts,
Anyway I got 500 k cr for my 6 star ticket. I guess they felt sorry for me
