Week 2

Rules:
1. You must give credit for using someone elses' parts.
2. Do not post your car until it is complete, and please put
Final Entry up at the top, so it's easy to put
up the poll.
3. No Flaming, and I mean it, don't test my resolve. You will recieve one
warning, then you will be disqualified.
4. You can use backgrounds, but remember when voting, to only judge the
car, not the background. This is a manga car comp, not a manga background comp.

Base is by Maikeru.

Its a 1988 Mazda RX-7 TurboII. Lets have fun, and see what creative stuff that can be brought up.

This one looks like its going to be a challenge. I'm not going to do another racing car for a while.
 
Mine is just about finished. I also have all day to work on it, I wasnt too well last night.:(
 
Darin, I don't think you remember this but your competitions title is supposed to be " Weekly Manga Car Week 1 ", then for the voting it's supposed to be " Weekly Manga Car Week 1 Voting ". 👍

I like it Jalpa, cool idea to make it a HKS dragcar.
did you base the paintjob on the real HKS cars, looking back and forth between pics, (which probably would take a while) or did you just put the colours in a random place on the car.

I tried to make the car's paint job as close to the 180SX Drag Car's, since it looks semi-similar to the RX-7. But I had to compromise for the rear end. I had to use a pic of a HKS Celica, which looks much different......and the pattern is different.......I think. So there are probably several inaccuracies, but I tried to make as close to real-looking as possible.
