Hey guys,
If anyone is interested in longer races, usually at least an hour long, you might be interested in checking our races out. Results are tracked. Most of the time it's an average based point system, so you're not completely at a disadvantage for not making all the races. These are the settings we usually use for every race:
Heavy damage
Weak slipstream
No assists
Tire Wear/Fuel consumption on
Real grip off road
We currently have 4 organized races a week: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
Monday races are a "Triathlon" type race; the theme/PP changes each week. You use the same car for three 25 minute races on a road course, some off road/rain course and a superspeedway. The best overall out of the three races gets the win. The Monday race starts at 9PM Eastern, 6PM Pacific.
Wednesday races are currently a 75 minute Ferrari F2007 series, but that's almost over. There are 2 more races left: one at Madrid and one on Laguna Seca. The Wednesday race starts at 9:45PM Eastern, 6:45PM Pacific.
Friday is a 60 minute NASCAR race on all the courses of GT5, minus the dirt/snow tracks and ones without pit lanes. The NASCAR races start at 10PM Eastern, 7PM Pacific.
Sunday is a 105 minute race, with theme of cars and PP changing every single week. The Sunday race starts at 9PM Eastern, 6PM Pacific.
If any of this sounds interesting to you, please add me (alefin) to your friends list, since these races are usually in a private lounge. All of this race information is updated constantly as well on my GT5 board.
We've been having these organized races for almost a year, but recently our numbers have started to dwindle, so we need some new blood
Thanks for reading, guys!
We currently use Facebook to coordinate and discuss. You can view our group page HERE
*Note, I am not alefin, I'm ugabugaz. With that said, add "alefin" on PSN as we race in his Lounge.
