Out of curiosity...
If you're participating in one of the weekly drift photo comps what do you do with your vote?

As a supplimentary to this poll:
I think I'd feel a bit guilty for voting for my own pic but what if I think its the best? Should I be feeling guilty about voting for me or is it better to not vote for anyone if you think yours is best?

Seeing as im the host of the Drift Photo Competitions i think i had better add something to this.

Firstly @ Hippyneil - it is natural to think that your photo would be better than everybody elses.


Secondly - For those who have found the original drift photo competition rules (yes there is a thread somewhere on here) it actually mentioned that people were not allowed to vote for themselves.

I had never mentioned this within the "rules" i use in the threads because i didnt think people would actually vote for themselves but if people beleive that this is becoming a problem then please let me know and i shall make amendments.

Im interested as to what this thread will dig up but as i have said many times before if people have ideas or things they would like to see addressed about the DPC then please PM me so we can talk it through further and come to some sort of conclusion.

Excluding the christmas competition where i did exploit pretty much every rule i could partly because i can, i have thought that all the competitions were run as fairly as possible.

Once again if people have ideas or areas they would like to see improved. PM me

I never meant to open a can or worms with this one and I don't want to give the impression that I am accusing anyone of attempting to rig a comp by voting for themselves etc. It was really out of curiosity as to what people as I hadn't found any mention of voting for yourself (or not).

I'm pretty sure most people are honest - otherwise all this would be bordering on the pointless - so if you think it's a poll/discussion that needn't take place then feel free to close it or whatever.

BTW i always think my pics are best ;)

...and so does my mum :) (probably)

Maybe you have opened a can of worms but things only get better by addressing there faults. If people feel the comps can be made better then im all ears. just pm me and we can talk. I wouldnt feel bad for starting this thread by the way and i dont think anything bad will come from it. I currently don't have a problem with the poll or subject of this thread. As long as it doesn't turn into the "I don't like THIS about DPC" thread.
