Yeah, yeah. We had a week one already, but you can obviously see that changes have been made to the artistic competitions sub-forum, so..

Since ACremona22 won the first week, he will be deciding for this week.

How about the next topic is the picture has to do with...
water.

There you have it. Something to do with water.

Care to elaborate on specific guidelines, if there are any AC?

Have fun! 👍

Water eh? Too bad I reformated my computer and my backup of all my pictures have been corupted :( I'm trying to recover them now, If not I'll have to do a little exploring...

It's hard picking a topic because I want everyone to be able to play. I figured water will get some creative photographs and anyone can take picture of water. Either the beach or your sink, make it creative! 👍

How do you guys like this photo? I'm thinking of entering this if I dont find other stuff to take pictures of.

No fair, Suzq lives in SD! ;)

I think I'll have to turn on my faucet as well.

I don't think it is, I think the water is so clear, that those are the items at the bottom of the creek. Doesn't look to deep, just looks like a little ripple is moving in on where he took the picture. Its hard to see, only because the water your looking through is so clear, it doesn't look like its there.

I should have my entry in sometime this week.

I think ACremona22 was referring to teazR's entry, not mine.. ;)

Here's my entry. Taken from my apartment during a heavy rain about a week ago. No manipulation except for the border.

And as AC said - no manipulation is allowed teazr. (but how about a border?)

hmm... i have a debate... the one posted ^ or one i got from chicago...

The lightning is my FINAL ENTRY, unless you deem that it cannot be used. If the lightning pic can't be used I choose this becasue it is actually raining in the background:

I think you should save those because im sure the topic "weather" will come up. Sorry but lets just keep this to the topic water. No clouds. :p
Hmm, when I said water I basically meant that the water is VISIBLE. I don't think saying that its "raining in the backround" falls under the same category if you can't even see the rain.

I got no visible clouds on my pic. And the water is clearly visible.

Either way I think your attempt to keep the subject water away from weather is lame. Weather creates both rain and the running/stillstanding water seen in other pics. You can't choke artistic interpretations just like that.

Um, your picture works fine, water just needs to be visible.

You all don't want me kicking everyones' collective ass in this, so I'll just refrain from entering (:

Come on Loud, its just for bragging rights anyway! At least put in an honable mention. ;)

I hope to have mine up tonight! 👍 Are they due tonight?

Creativity eludes me this week, so here's a simple shot of a waterfall with a slow shutter speed. If anything else suddenly comes to mind then I'll put it in.
