Here we are!!!

Yet another great race by everyone! Noteable mentions and great racing go out to Max E. , Red Eye Racer and Cobraking13!

Excellent racing by all.

Looks like there are a few of you out there that might be moving up in class. Keep up the good work. And there looks like there might be a few that are hanging on to there class standings by the skin of thier teeth. :D :eek: BEWARE!!! ;)

Don't sweat it Gil. You just got to get your new PS2 broken in. ;) There should be some great tips and tricks shared in Week 3. Hope to see you there.

for the record my best lap was about 1:14.8xx in free run. overall i would have finished near pedroman.
 
geez, you took the last turn in an interesting way boom.

Hey Boom you've gotta get Red Eye Racer out of the Amateur class, he's far too quick for us!

There were some seriously fast times there. I have absolutely no idea how anyone can get into the 2'32s and a low 2'32s Max? Hats off to both of you.

I'm glad that C5R is over and done with, now to get whupped with a Gillet :)

I did'nt expect my run to be as good as it has turned out .Im happy with that one :D

I know for sure i could have taken 1.5 secs off my time if i could just get the splits i had gotten in previous attemps

Oh well still a good result

I'm pretty dissapointed with my time this week, as I only had one good 2 hour session to do it all.:irked:

Anyway, I'll have plenty of time this week so maybe I'll get some fast laps in this time:trouble:

Here's my replay, not very exciting except for the near runoff in turn 4 after the start. If it wasn't for that I would have had a better time by far. My second lap was a 1:14:6XX which was my fastest out of any that I had time to run, so I guess it's cool that it ended up on my fastest race total.

You shoulda just sucked it up and ran it anyway like I did. I would have enjoyed another person whippin' me!;)
 
sorry fellas, but there's been a mistake. i made a typo in my pm to boombexus and drunkinly typed a finl time of 2'23. boom mistook the typo for 2'32 but actually it's 2'33.180 so brian beat me and not the vice-versa. great job brian, looks like you got me this time. maybe i'll have better luck next time. see you in the vertigo.

Thanx for the props, great job by everyone, this was a real tough car/track combo boom,... I had way more fun for drivin an S class than I shoulve ;) :)

NOTE- I was up on the dirt every-single-time between turns 2 and 3. I wathed the replay from every angle possible and also from the ****-pit of the 787b,.... I think the run is clean. 👍

:irked: I knew I wouldn't be staying in pro league for very long, I tried my best at them both though... no excuses, I'm losing my touch :(

Well...

Just as I suspected, I did about average.

I knew my time wasn't good, I knew it wasn't bad.

I guess this confirms it.

Luckily, this week I'm gonna be racin' my ass off, because down here everything is closed due to mardi gras.

So that means Im gonna be able to put in the time I want as to get a descent time.

Good racing everyone.
 
Congratulations all, espcially Max E., Red Eye Racer & Cobraking13. Great racing Ladies and gentlemen. I knew my time was not goingto be up there. I am quite upset at the fact I was not able to keep up. I know exactly where I could have at least shaved a sec off, that was at the corkscrew and turn 2 & 3. Well, ready for this weeks challenge. Good luck to all :)

also if you feel like it, heres kind of a "blooper" replay i saved of a wasted lap where I decided to yank the e-brake on the long straight right before the corkscrew. *Hint: keep an eye on the GT-one....hehe

Well I supposed thats what I get for only running ten laps. And I don't have the Vertigo either. I've alreayd run that race but I can't remember what I got.
 
There are two corners at Rome that are gonna separate the pros from the guys like me.
I hope I can tame that nasty 110 deg turn after the Coliseum.
I hope with the ability to tune I will make a better showing.
