Weekly Race Series, Week 38

The Car: Any car with the exception of the Nissan R390 Road or Race Car, the Mazda 787B any F1 cars, the Escudo and the Toyota GT-One Road and Race car..

Tune your cars any way you see fit.

The Track: Tokyo R246

The Race: Hot lap. Arcade Mode, Free Run. Get your fastest lap time.

The Rules:

1. 2 tires on the track at all times.
2. The rumble strips are part of the track.
3. The sidewalks and black and yellow stripe areas are part of the track.
4. Absolutely no wall touching, banging or wall riding.
5. No hybrids.
6. No cheating of any kind.
7. Save your replay.
8. Drive fast.

Time Discussion: All "T" times.

The Deadline: Monday at Midnight the 10th of November. In otherwords, Tuesday at 0700 GMT the 11th of November.

Please make sure when sending in your final time, to include car you used and what division you are running in.

Well.. Looks like an interesting race.... Maybe I'll use my race I'm in the middle of as pracitce (I'm currently running the endurance 100 laps of this right now (trying to complete the game to 100% and only have this and one other endurance race left) with the Mugen NSX fully tuned to 1044hp - Fun trying to keep this straight when the tyres run low). Will have to check back to see if F1 (assume not) and GT-one road car (I wish I could get the damn thing) are elegible...

Nooooo... Not that I would even consider it, but I think that if ANYONE has the capability to propel the Escudo CLEANLY around R246, they should be given the opportunity to prove so !....

Ok... Well, I'm 50 laps into my endurance (taking a short intermission for now), and with my endurance setup (hard tyres thus slightly lower grip, but much longer lasting), have run the following fastest:

T2 - 0'46.420

I am getting bored of lapping the AI every 7 laps already... Think that for my last race I migyht go with the escudos, max out gears, and tie a tie round the accelerator, and come back every now and then to check on it..

I've been averaging round the 12.0xx-12.5xx T1, and 46-48 T2.

thats it so far. My car is FR and it gets about 335kph (210mph) before braking on straight. LM car

This should be a fun one... with us being able to run nearly everything, we may actually end up with some even matches from several different cars.

Supras or NSX's

Yeah, I love how many cars there are to choose from this week.

Just picking a car is going to take as long as actually tuning it.

I'm going to test a few out just to see how they fare. Not expecting competitive times from them, but will certainly enjoy my chance with them.

I foresee a lot of nailbiting when reviewing ones' replays I find it extremely difficult to feel if you graced the wall or not

Run it through the analyzer, as you'll be able to see where the graph dips in confunctino with a wall touch.

I support alta on the diablo thing... it would be cool to see some diablo times, and as long as the diablo isn't modified in an odd way (hybrid) than it should be cool. (imo)

Also, if you were to run the diablo, you would have to supply replay, flat out.

Zonda race could use some competition and the diablo just may be it.

Although don't count my vertigo out, I will be back in about 10 minutes with a time to post.
