Weekly Race Week 2: RESULTS.

What an excellent week 2, everybody - there was some great racing and amazingly fast times (See: Sough) posted.

There was some confusion as to the way that results were posted last week, so I'm going to post them in this fashion: Name - Total Time - Best Lap. Hopefully this will relieve confusion.

A very sad goodbye to Luxy, who has just scored a new job and does not have time to compete in the series any more - bye, mate. :(

A great big hello! to members nolaf and Majiik who have just sent in their registration times! Let's hope they add some great competition to racing! :)

Just a reminder to everyone - when you give me your times, remember to include all the digits in that time - no use posting results if a couple of people are split by 100ths of a second and I don't have all the details of one of those times. :)

A huge great big congratulations to Sough who was the only competitor to acheive a below-six-minute total time and below-1'10-best lap. Is there any way of reeling this guy in?

Comgratulations to all competitors on a job well done - I think it's safe to say that we absolutely tamed Monaco, and kicked the real F1s' arses! :D

Great racing by all, and hopefully we'll see more of the same at Seattle! :)
 
How ****, i that 1'17 would of been enough :( oh well next race im going to set myself a certain time to beat.

i am glad this track is over...yes i know its history and pedigree and all....but looks like me and Jensen B have a problem with the same chicane...

what times were Montoya and the boys lapping at MonteCarlo this weekend?
 
I could have posted a better time, but with company over and really just finding out about this a few days ago, I didn't have time to really practice and prepare.. I'm looking forward to the next round :)

Btw; I use the MOMO (red) wheel/pedals, does anyone else?

Think quickest was about 1.14.5 or so ?? Think it was Raikkonen with quickest lap

I shud show him how to do it eh !!! (not) !! :lol: :lol: :(

despite having an absolute crap run i still finised second
...on to seattle
 
I would have been happy with a 1:09 low but that 1:07 happened to pop up in the race. Did a 20 lapper just for fun on pro mode sim and smoked it, thought about the enduro and fgt but never went through with it. I mean 78 laps, come on!

I still think we should "rank" the times from total time and not best lap though.
 
No way, Sough, then I'd do crap... I suck at total times. Not too bad at best laps though... :banghead:
 
But if best laps are the deciding factor, it kind of defeats the purpose of the race. Someone could hotlap all their race attempts, mess up a bunch of times but nail one good lap and then submit. Passing the AI skillfully means nothing as the fastest lap won't come on that lap.

What does everyone else think?
 
I know what you mean sough - we dont seem to know whether to go all out for the quickest lap or the quickest total time.
I think that cos we r runnin the 5 lappers it makes sense to have the best total time as the goal ??
 
none for me this week, dont like the cote!!!!..and had exams:(
 
Nice to see you're not still peeved over Trial Mountain, meekael. Good stuff.

If you get a time into me that's fast, and withing 24 hours of the deadline, I'll include you no matter what your position. :)
