Let it be said: I HATE THIS TRACK!! Try as I might, I couldn't get below 50 seconds. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that the house was noisy at the time of racing...

The usual suspects are up the top end this week, but not a lot of people turned in times.

A hearty Welcome aboard! to Zboost, who registered this week! With luck he'll turn in consistent times regularly! :)

On to week 8, which I forgot where we're off to! Now how's about that, my own series and all... wouldn't expect it, would ya?

Please allow it to be said: I am not happy at all with my best lap.

I had to win a new full-powered Poly001 today, and only had a few hours to break it in. You wouldn't know it, but the handling characteristics are extremely different between the 813hp car and the 829hp car. :grumpy:

Hey SS, do you save ur game after doing test runs and races with ur Poly001? I usually save any relevant replay and settings, but i never save my game. I remember having tested so much once my car stayed at 813 hp and no oil change could fix that anymore. So i decided not to save to keep it at 829 hp.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that the house was noisy at the time of racing...
That is true tho. I remember for SSR5 Wet, I was going pretty good, but then the house got really noisy and I started to do crap. Then later on when it was quiet again, I had another go at it and started going faster again. So I do think the noise is a bigger distraction than we think. I really hate it when I cant hear the engine well anymore cuz thats really the only feedback we can get from the game in a realistic point of view.

Sough: one of these days...;) nice run there mate 👍

Yea same here. I finally figured out what the "ideal" racing line should be( according to me ). But that happened on my 5th and last run. I did get a 50.373 on that fifth run, followed by a 50.6sumtin but screwed it up. Its all about consistency and I fuked it up this time around... except on my good run where I was consistently slower, but all around faster... :banghead:

I think we will need to gang up on the guy  He never slows down! And if I remember well Sough, you said Grand Valley is one of your favourite tracks also isnt it? Impending doom awaits us...

Cheers on some good runs guys

Indeed. I don't save my tests, only best lap and settings.

I was "capable" of running a mid-49, but I only had a lower powered car.

Same here, but maybe not even a mid 49, more like a high 49. But whats done is done. Still having fun tho, and thats what counts :)

True. I'll still go fr the mid-49 and the Australian record at Racingline. :D

whats the record there?

fark me thats quick

Nope, it'll be less than a second off me when I'm done with it... :trouble:

Very close Bollocks, nice run there. Now on to gran valley :trouble:

My brother saved his game he was starting over my save yesterday so off of my cars and tracks etc are GONE! cripes, I don't want to do polyphony cup again, I think I might just rent a gameshark today.

do so, unlock all arcade tracks, and use 9999 series points for the PD cup

Sorry I couldn't get in a time. My basketball tourney was all screwed up. We were told to be there at a certain time... when we got there we had to wait almost 3 hours before we even played. So I left early and got home late. I wouldn't have matched anyone in the top 4 though... my best lap in testing was about '52.3. I think I could have run a little under 4'30.xxx but I don't think I could have done much better.

Bah, it doesnt matter if u cant match a certain pace. What counts is that u are actually getting better as each week progresses. I feel that I understand the F094s/Poly 001 much better now. And setting it up is starting to come easy for me as the races go by. And the most important thing is just try to have fun :)

thats the spirit 👍

Absolutely. I just hope numbers are up this week. :)

Sough: Here's your raw material - train me.
